🥊 Another champion of sustainable fashion 🥊
A unique Kronk x Adidas collab exclusive hoodie, handmade from waste textiles ♻️

These hoodies aren't just about the aesthetics, they are made with meaning and an important message.

Every one of a kind item made and sold, saves another bunch of textiles hitting landfill, reducing emissions and helping our planet 🌍

🚛 Did you know there are currently 540 landfill sites in operation in the UK at the moment

🙈 There are infact 20,000 historic and closed sites recorded in the UK that still require ongoing management and environmental monitoring.

👕 Approximately 350,000 tonnes of clothing are sent to landfill in the UK each year, which is about 30% of the total unwanted clothing. This waste is a significant environmental issue, with wearable clothes often discarded and contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and other pollution

🥊 Thank you for ordering this unique hoodie, supporting my mission and for spreading the word on sustainability ✌🏽♻️

🌍 True champs help save the planet 🥊👌🏽

Thank again to Kronk for donating their waste textiles and supporting a sustainable solution.

Thank you adidas for the abundance of pre-loved clothing! 👀

🛑STOP🛑 This is your reminder to plan ahead for your Halloween costume this year so you don't pollute the planet for one night of entertainment!

A study into Halloween waste found that a shocking 83% of Halloween costumes used non-recyclable oil-based plastics which meant they were destined to end up in landfill.

To put that into context, that’s around 2000 tonnes of or a horrifying 83 million plastic bottles caused by the festivities.

Even more disturbing is the fact that the plastic polymer used in over 63% of these costumes, polyester, can take anywhere between 20-200 years to decompose.

With the annual celebration of Halloween (October 31st), landfills are being topped up with discarded costumes year-on-year and the monstrous problem of Halloween waste continues to grow.

The waste caused by Halloween is the scariest monster of them all!!
