That 1980s three-stone ring has been sitting in your drawer for years. The setting feels heavy, the gold's lost its shine, and it's just not you anymore.

We see a lot of these in our Leeds workshop. Chunky 18ct yellow gold shanks, tall claw settings, three diamonds sitting high on a raised gallery.

The diamonds are almost always the part people want to keep. They were chosen for a reason, and they've been worn through a lot of years.

So we lift them out, check each stone under the loupe, and reset them into something that suits the way you live now. A slim platinum trilogy with a lower profile sits closer to the finger and is far less likely to catch on jumpers and gloves.

The old 18ct gold doesn't have to go to waste either. We can weigh it and talk you through your options, or melt it down and recast it into a matching band.

It starts with a chat at the counter. We then create CAD renders so you can see the new ring before anything is made, and once you've approved the design, it's handmade on site at the bench.

Same diamonds. Same memories. A ring you'll actually reach for.

If there's a three-stone ring tucked away at home, pop in with it or send us a photo through the website. There's no pressure. We'll just have a proper chat about what it could become 💍

Three mistakes we see across the counter when folk buy lab-grown diamonds.

First, thinking it's fake. A lab-grown diamond is real diamond, grown atom by atom under the same conditions as a mined stone. Same hardness, same sparkle, same certificate. The only difference is where it formed.

Second, ignoring the setting metal. A stunning stone in a poor setting is a problem waiting to happen. Platinum holds a diamond more securely than lower-carat gold and never needs rhodium replating. The metal matters as much as the stone.

Third, skipping the quality grade. A lower colour or clarity grade costs less but shows in natural light. Ask to see the certificate and compare grades side by side before you decide. We'll happily show you both here in our Leeds workshop.

Our Platinum Lab Diamond Ring holds a 4.01ct stone, £3,490. Ask us anything.

Every bespoke piece starts on paper before it ever reaches the bench.

A sketch, a few pencil notes, a claw-set round ruby marked out by hand. Then our craftsmen here in the Leeds workshop turn it into something in gold you'll actually wear.

From that first consultation we talk through your vision, your inspiration and your budget, then work up the detailed sketches until it's right.

If you've got an idea you'd like to turn into a ring, pop in or give us a call.

Victorian engagement rings were made to be admired. Tall claws, ornate gallery work, and a diamond sitting high above the finger.

That's lovely in a photo. It's less practical on a ring that catches on coat sleeves and knocks against every door handle.

When a piece like this is handed down, the diamond is usually the part people want to keep. It's the stone your grandmother wore every day, and it's often in far better shape than the worn claws holding it.

So in our Leeds workshop, we carefully lift it out, clean and check it, then reset it into a slim bezel setting in platinum or 18ct gold. A smooth rim of metal wraps right round the stone, so it sits lower and there's nothing to snag.

It's a setting that copes with the school run, the washing up and a full day at work.

The process starts with a chat about how you'll wear it. We then create a CAD design for you to approve, and the new mount is handmade here on site and hallmarked before it comes back to you.

The same diamond your grandmother wore, in a ring you'll put on every morning.

If you've got a family engagement ring you'd love to wear again, pop in with it or send us a photo through the website. No pressure. We'll talk you through the options properly 💍

We hear this one at the Leeds workshop counter more than almost anything else: "lab-grown diamonds aren't real diamonds."

Here's what the science says. A lab-grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure as a mined one. Same hardness, same fire, same sparkle across the counter. A diamond is a diamond, whether it grew in the earth or in a lab.

Where it matters is knowing what you're buying and what it's worth. That's what we're here for. Pop in and we'll talk you through it properly, no pressure.

Every line on the page is a decision. Every decision becomes something that lasts.

This is where a bespoke piece starts here in our Leeds workshop. Handwritten notes, a rough sketch, and the finished ring sitting on top of it all.

The thinking comes first. The metal follows.

A worn two-tone Rolex Jubilee bracelet on the bench this week. Stretched links, a tired clasp, the kind of wear that comes from years on the wrist.

A lot of folks assume the only fix is a brand new bracelet. It isn't. We can restore the links and sort the clasp so it wears tight and sits right again, and for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Here at our Leeds workshop, our craftsmen handle Rolex bracelet refurbishment onsite. Most repairs done same day, and all our work is backed by a 12-month guarantee.

Pop in and see us if your bracelet needs some attention.

A family sapphire doesn't have to stay on the finger to be worn.

Older cluster rings usually have the sapphire in the centre, ringed with small diamonds on a raised yellow gold mount. Over the years the claws wear, the shank thins, and the whole thing starts to feel a bit heavy for everyday life.

It's the setting that dates it. The sapphire itself has often held up far better than the gold around it.

So in our Leeds workshop, we can lift the stone out and reset it as a contemporary halo pendant. The sapphire sits in a fresh claw setting with a fine halo around it, in white gold or platinum, on a delicate chain. The small diamonds from the original cluster can often be reused in the halo, so more of the old ring comes with it.

A pendant also gives a stone that's spent decades on a hand an easier time. Less knocking on door frames, less washing up, less catching on gloves.

It starts with a chat at the bench. We check the sapphire and the diamonds, talk through how you'd actually wear it, then share a CAD design for you to approve. Once you're happy, it's handmade on site by our craftsmen.

Same stone. It just gets worn now.

If there's a ring like this tucked away at home, pop in with it or send us a photo through the website. No pressure, just a proper chat about the options ✨

"Lab-grown diamonds aren't real diamonds" is one we hear across the counter here in Leeds most weeks.

The truth: a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond. It's physically and optically the same as a stone pulled from the ground. Same hardness, same sparkle, same everything a jeweller tests for. The only difference is where it grew.

So if someone tells you it's fake, they're mistaken. Both are proper diamonds.

If you're weighing up your options, pop in and see us or drop us a message. Happy to talk it through, no pressure.

Your late relative's wedding band has been in a drawer since the funeral. Keeping it felt right. Wearing it didn't.

Often it's the size, or a thin, worn profile that was shaped by someone else's hand over decades. So it stays in the box, safe and unworn.

This is the kind of piece we remake in our Leeds workshop. The original band is melted down and recast into a new one, in a profile that suits you. Court, D-shape or flat, sized to your finger.

If it needs a touch more metal to fit, we add gold of the same carat. The old gold stays at the heart of the new band.

Then there's the quiet detail. A date or initials engraved on the inside, or a small lab-grown diamond set flush into the inner surface, where only you know it's there.

We start with a chat about the band and the person it belonged to, then a CAD design for you to approve. It's made on the bench here and re-hallmarked before it comes home with you.

Pop in with the band, or send us a photo through the website. There's no pressure, and we'll talk you through it properly 💍
