“Whether you choose to buy your jewellery from us or not…”
…I’d always recommend choosing an independent jeweller where possible 💍
As a goldsmith, I’ve seen first-hand how much difference a good independent jeweller can make, not just when you buy a piece, but years afterwards too.
So here are my 3 reasons why good independents are always the better choice ⬇️
1️⃣ You’ll usually get more personal advice
Independent jewellers tend to spend more time helping you understand what you’re buying, rather than simply trying to “make the sale”.
2️⃣ We can often repair, remodel and restore jewellery
A lot of chain stores can only sell jewellery. Independent jewellers often have workshops and goldsmiths who can repair, resize, redesign and properly care for pieces long-term.
3️⃣ Reputation genuinely matters to us
Most independents rely heavily on recommendations and repeat customers, so trust and customer service are incredibly important to us.
Jewellery is personal, emotional and often deeply meaningful, so choosing where you buy it from matters more than people sometimes realise.
