📣 Little announcement 📢

Unfortunately, due to the rising cost of gold some glass is now too expensive to provide on workshops.

As many of you who have been on my workshops will know, to colour art glass chemicals and real gold are added into glass. In particularly purples and pinks contain the most gold.

There will be a selection of purples and pinks for you to use over the next months but, unless I put up the cost of workshops significantly, I will be unable to provide it once the current stock has run out.

Workshops are now booked up until end of May 2026. I will list Junes workshops in May. See you soon

The Advanced 2 day workshop is now live on the website. This takes place on 23 & 30 May. 10am - 1pm. You must attend both days to have a completed piece.
YOU MUST Be able to score and break glass confidently and without excessive wastage. I have priced this workshop as low as I can taking advanced skills into account. If you are not sure please just drop me a message.
Day 1: using your pre cut 30 cm circle you will create the back ground using powdered glass and stencils. You will have the opportunity to prep your florals for the following week when the powdered glass has been tacked onto the circle
Day 2: using stringers, Frits and sheet glass and paints you will build the final layer which will then be fired on a contour fuse to soften your petals.

Price includes the metal stand, all glass, PPE, firings and tuition

I’m still closed at the moment but I’ve started putting some workshops on the website.

This NEW workshop is great for beginners or those wanting to explore colour, bubbles and adding inclusions into glass.

You will make a 30cm long wishstick (or 2 smaller ones) with access to all the glass, Frits, chemicals to create bubbles and specialist paints and papers we will design and build the piece before firing it for 24 hours.

I’m having to suspend my workshops for the time being!

All workshops booked for January are going ahead as normal but I’m unable to add any more on I’m afraid.

Never fear, I should be back up and running mid/ late April with NEW workshops including a Beginners kiln carving and 2 Develop workshops; modelling glass and a two day workshop making floral stands!

In the meantime, you can still find my work in Bay Tree Gallery, Echo Beach and seapigstore as well as my studio sell off over on eBay!!

Happy New Year everyone!
I’m back and working behind the scenes on lots of new workshops and making samples for these. You might have seen them popping up on the website if you are one of those that’s been checking it out over the Christmas break.

Newest beginners workshop is the ‘kiln carving’ technique. I would only suggest booking onto this if you’ve already done another workshop focussing on scoring and breaking glass as this is just another technique to add to your ever growing skill set!!

On this workshop we will use fibre blanket to create ‘carved’ images on the glass.

It might be Christmas and I might seem to have gone quiet but behind the scenes I am already working on new things!

Little sneaky peak of a NEW Develop workshop that I will be releasing in 2026

As this is not a beginners workshop you must be able to score and break glass without wastage!
(Too much wastage will incur additional charges for the glass)

Week 1: - 3 hour session - create the back ground using stencils and powdered glass. Start to prepare the second layer of flowers and leaves

Week 2 - 3 hour session - your first firing to attach the powdered glass back ground will have been done. You can now complete the rest of your piece with your hand cut petals and leaves, stringers and frit
