Agnes Katona Ltd. We are a small family-run business specialising in hand-crafted jewellery, repairs and alterations. We hope you enjoy your visit!

We are a small, family-run business specialising in beautiful handcrafted fine jewellery in 18ct gold and platinum. Founded in 2015, we provide customers worldwide with an online access to quality, fine jewellery manufactured in London. Our aim is also to provide our customers with an unmatched access to a large online directory of jewellery-related services. We like to emphasise the work of Londo

n-based goldsmiths and craftsmen, who bring with them artisanal qualities and talents. We also work with a few Swedish craftsmen to vary our items a bit. We believe that if a piece is designed and made with care, it will be worn with love and pride. No work is too small or too complex for our team and the highly trained craftsmen who work with us. We take great pride in enabling our customers the oppurtunity to restore, alter, repair and design their own beautifully handcrafted jewellery; tailored to individual budgets and requirements. We hope the beautiful, handcrafted jewellery in our online shop can give you some inspiration when looking into commissioning your own timeless piece of jewellery. Alternatively, we hope to share in the pleasurable experience of altering and restoring your family heirlooms.

So far it has been a bangle and bracelet year. You may recall the bracelet that was remounted into a 9ct yellow gold bangle. In the meantime I was also given a double row that was no longer loved to separate the strands and to make into a 9ct rose gold bangle and 9ct white gold bangle. 3 remountings. Stones certificated. Bangles valued. Here they are all 3 together! All 3 metals. And the bracelet you saw last night too. I am a bangle person so this was a very special commission. We had to add 34 extra lab grown diamonds to make up the required size for the 2 new bangles but that was ok to do. πŸ€πŸ©·πŸ’›

Complicated order but a joy to hand over when ready.

I am having issues with our macro lens so if you see less macro images for a while, apologies. I need to send it off to be repaired or need to buy a new one at great expense.

The before image shows here the inherited ring that came to me. Natural diamonds of varying shapes with a triple white gold band in 18ct. My client prefers traditional designs so we took off the unnecessary side bands, resized it, cleaned and polished it, certificated the stones and valued the ring. Now she has a more delicate ring. It looks lovely πŸ’™

Sharing my finds this week. All things and and . As always I cannot credit the artist but their absence in name takes nothing away from their talent. Current favourite is the "watchdog" found by a woman at a goodwill charity shop in the US and, the moping safety pin and the shell water drinking fountain for bees. πŸ˜€

Hi Everyone. So here is last night's bracelet with a new 18ct gold clasp. It is very difficult to source a large, 18ct gold clasp that suits your purpose and the usual suspects like a lobster clasp were not accepted by my client. I managed to find this sailor clasp from a vintage seller as old unused stock from 1992. She loved it as it had a good catch for her nail. Now opens and closes well and she wanted it a bit delicate. Mission accomplished. πŸ’›

This interesting, 2 tone, valuable studded with diamonds came to me. Looks perfect but the "own link" clasp could barely be opened and when opened could barely be closed. It was not stuck. Metal too thin. So after faffing for years and losing it twice my client asked for clasp not to be repaired but replaced so she can open and close it much much easier. Showing you tomorrow what happened to it.

I saw this picture today and it got me thinking. Why not? If you inherit rings as MOST of my clients do but you cannot wear them due to your job, arthritis, wrong metal, allergies or too expensive to resize 10 plus rings... why not make the rings into charms? I can see this working. For silver and gold bracelets. Tell me your thoughts. Would you? So yes.....I can do this for you if you have loads of unworn rings and could imagine wearing them on an unconventional bracelet. Why not? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Or add a single ring to a charm bracelet with sentimental meaning in silver or gold.

I have a charm that is actually in the form of a ring and I know at least one client who has that too on her bracelet. Like a mini ring that is a charm so I can see this working with normal rings. (Of course imagine all cleaned and polished too).

Hi Everyone! After a manic half term with kids I am back at work this week. Hope you are all well. Heat wave almost ended me but I am appreciating the cool day today. I took this pic today at Shopping Centre having taken my younger daughter Isabelle to the orthodontist nearby. I love walking under it. It is a permanent installation here. We can use some rain now. πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ§‘

Hope you have a good week ahead. I am reading messages full time now.

Hello Everyone. I am a bit quiet this side. Taking a small break from social media for a few days but I can still be contacted of course. We have a under construction at the moment. Long time to make it so will show you in about 2 months' time. In the meantime showing you this inherited, 1970s that came for a valuation recently. βœ¨οΈπŸ’›

So apparently this is me according to my 12 year old daughter and open AI.

I am not an early adopter or follower of this platform but as it was done by the prompts of my daughter Isla, it will be humbly accepted as flattering and sweet. πŸ™ˆβ˜ΊοΈ

The mug says it all. That was not a prompt, strangely enough.

Sharing this week's finds of all things , , , .

I don't go out looking for these. They pop up on my feed all week and I save the best ones ☺️

My favourite is the blue tit bird sitting on a small spoon on a solidified mass of seeds.
