N O W R U Z - This weekend I’ll be at the Nowruz Bazaar at Lauderdale House in London, celebrating the Persian New Year and the arrival of spring.

In times that can feel heavy, moments like this are a chance to gather, celebrate culture, and support one another. I’ll be bringing a selection of Ava & Azar pieces inspired by Persian heritage - bold, handcrafted jewellery designed to tell a story.

On International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on what it means to be a British-Iranian woman.

My Persian heritage lives at the heart of Ava & Azar - shaping the jewellery I create and the stories that inspire it.

I’m deeply grateful for the freedom I have to live independently, to create, and to share my voice through my work.

Today I’m also holding the women of Iran in my thoughts. Their courage, resilience, and strength continue to inspire the world.
