01 “White Gold” Moulded Corset

The making of part I: it starts with the stone.

Several flat pieces of blue agate and minerals, laid out and read for their form before anything is drawn. The brooch silhouette was built around what the crystals already suggested. Smaller gems placed on top to interrupt it. Five days spent on this one brooch that anchors the corset.

Look 02 — The Swirlity Bralette

A chain, caught in the act of moving. Crafted from SLJ’s oversized Kamon and Surinity links, this piece transforms a once-fluid chain into sculpted armour. Over two weeks, each link was hand-moulded bit by bit on a live fit model to trace the body’s curves, then soldered together to lock the form into a rigid shell. Leather cords wrap and tie the piece in place, finished with miniature Kamon details. A study in structure and intimacy…protective, delicate, and quietly powerful.
