Owner, Neil Duckworth, a stalwart of the watch industry, has put his heart and soul into resurrecting the Prestex brand, now called Duckworth Prestex, to reflect the passion and tradition of three generations of watch-making, going back over 100 years. He was instrumental to TAG Heuer's success in the UK after first introducing the watches to retailers in the 1980s. He was also previously the UK Managing Director for LVMH. But that's not even the scratching the surface...!

Nearly time for the big one. Wind Up watch show in NYC 415 5th Avenue. This year we will have all 4 Marcato Jumping Hour watches Come and take a look if you can. And order whilst you are there. Delivery of the Marcato starts end of the month and there are only 75 being produced of each dial variations.

Paris. We Love Watches exhibtion at the Maison Mutualite. Rue Saint Victor. Prestex showing here for the first time. And the only British brand out of 90 exhibitors. My historical collection of Prestex Watch have drawn a lot of attention. So too the Swiss Diver and the Swiss manual winding Parker. But the star of the show has no doubt been the Marcato jumping hour. Tous le monde il adore! Come and visit on Saturday.

4 amazing new textured rubber straps with tension sprung steel folding clasp for the new Marcato out later this month. Here on the rose gold plated Guilloche dial centre. 39mm diameter. 12mm depth. Exhibition case back showing the Sellita SW300
automatic movement. A jumping hour positioned at the 9 O’Clock position so you can actually see it jump as well as read the time logically from left to right.

1st day at Bangkok WELA watch show and the Parker mechanical was the most admired and tried on watch today. Not surprising. It a vintage classic rectangular timepiece. Perfect proportions and size, elegant and good looking. Not to mention Swiss Made and just $995.
