⚠️ WARNING for anyone traveling the UAE–Oman road.
My 83-year-old mother-in-law and her 80-year-old cousin agreed to pay €500 to be driven from the UAE border to Muscat Airport. They paid upfront. In the middle of nowhere, the driver then threatened to throw them out of the car unless they handed over an additional €2,000 on the spot.

INSIDE OUT PAINTINGS
Using the venerable Chinese technique from the late 1800s used to paint inside s***f bottles, the glass beads are painted INSIDE-OUT with a brush that goes in the bead’s hole at a right angle. Talented Mr. D**g- pictured here- paints iconic views of European or cosmic sceneries or …silliness…thus mixing an ancient Chinese craft to the Western world taste.
