Where do 25 hours go? ⏳
Soutache is one of the slowest jewellery techniques there is. A thin decorative cord is folded, shaped and stitched by hand around beads and stones – one stitch at a time, with no machine and no mould. That’s why a single pair of earrings can take a whole working week.
The same patience runs through everything at Creative Libra:
❤️ Dagna – founder, 20+ years of handcraft, now creating Baltic amber jewellery and beadwork
🧵 Dominika – hand-stitched soutache earrings
🧶 Luiza – crochet triangle scarves
Three makers, three techniques, one rule: nothing mass-produced.
Over the coming weeks we’ll show you each process from start to finish. Which one should we film first – amber, soutache or crochet? 👇
