Introducing the F.P. Journe Centigraphe Souverain Black Label Ref. CT. Recently Sold Xanco Jewellers.

Produced between 2010 and 2017, this exclusive edition pairs a 40mm platinum case with a striking blackened-gold dial, contrasted by whitened guilloché silver counters and red accents.

Powered by the manually wound, 18-carat rose-gold Calibre 1506, the Centigraphe features an innovative chronograph capable of displaying elapsed times from 1/100th of a second to 10 minutes, operated through a patented rocker at 2 o’clock.

Reserved exclusively for existing F.P. Journe owners and available only through the manufacture’s boutiques, the Black Label represents a particularly distinctive interpretation of one of Journe’s most technically ambitious chronographs.

The F.P.Journe Répétition Souveraine Skeleton, Ref. RM.

This openworked version lays the Calibre 1408 fully bare, showing the rose gold bridges, gear trains, and striking hammers that power the minute repeater beneath a skeletonised dial. Blued steel hands sit over Arabic numerals, with a subsidiary seconds register at 7:30 and a power reserve indicator worked into the movement’s architecture, while the hammer and gong assembly for the repeater is visible through the open construction, offering a rare look at a mechanism usually hidden from view.
Case in stainless steel, 40mm, fitted on a black alligator strap. True to the model’s ultra flat construction, the movement itself, in 18K rose gold, stands just 4.5mm thick, among the slimmest minute repeater calibres ever produced.

Introducing the F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain Ruthenium Ref. 01T. An exceptional example from the highly limited Ruthenium series. Produced between 2001 and 2005 and numbered to just 99 pieces, it features a ruthenium-finished dial and ruthenium-coated brass movement, housed in a 40mm platinum case and presented here on a platinum bracelet.

The Ruthenium series bookends F.P. Journe’s brass-movement era, marking the transition to 18k rose gold movements in 2004. A rare and important chapter in the early history of the manufacture.

Introducing the F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain Ref. TN Black Label. It traces its origins to 1999, when François-Paul Journe launched his eponymous manufacture with a tourbillon wristwatch incorporating a remontoir d’égalité. In 2004, the concept evolved further with the introduction of deadbeat seconds, creating the Tourbillon Souverain à Remontoir d’Égalité avec Seconde Morte.

Produced in Black Label form between 2006 and 2015, the Ref. TN combines a platinum case with a distinctive blackened-gold dial and whitened guilloché silver elements. The Black Label collection was conceived exclusively for existing F.P. Journe owners and made available through F.P. Journe Boutiques and Espaces.

At its heart is the manually wound Calibre 1403, uniting the tourbillon, remontoir d’égalité and deadbeat seconds in one of the manufacture’s defining early complications.

An important chapter in the development of F.P. Journe and a particularly distinctive expression of the Tourbillon Souverain.

Introducing the F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance Ref. 01R.

First presented in 2000, the Chronomètre à Résonance was the culmination of an idea François-Paul Journe had pursued since attempting to apply resonance to a pocket watch in 1983. It would become the first wristwatch designed to function through this natural physical phenomenon.

This particular 2001 example comes from F.P. Journe’s formative Brass Collection, pairing a 38mm platinum case with an 18-carat yellow-gold dial, twin whitened guilloché silver displays and blued-steel hands.

Inside sits the manually wound Calibre 1499, with two independently driven gear trains and regulating systems whose balances can influence one another through resonance rather than a direct mechanical connection.

An early and important expression of the concept that would become one of François-Paul Journe’s defining contributions to modern independent watchmaking.

The Rolex Daytona 126506 is instantly recognisable by its signature ice blue dial, a colour reserved exclusively for the platinum models in the Daytona line. The monobloc Cerachrom bezel in brown ceramic houses a tachymetric scale for calculating average speeds, paying tribute to the model’s motorsport heritage.

Powered by the in-house Calibre 4130 with 72 hours of power reserve, this chronograph movement was engineered specifically for the Daytona, reducing the number of components while improving reliability and shock resistance.

The 40mm case is fitted to a platinum Oyster bracelet, offering a substantial wrist presence and exceptional wearing comfort thanks to platinum’s inherent density and smoothness. This reference remains one of the most sought after in the current Rolex catalogue.

The F.P.Journe Chronomètre à Résonance Ref. 04RN is powered by the calibre 1499.2, a manually wound movement crafted entirely in 18 carat rose gold, built around two independent gear trains, balance wheels and escapements. Positioned close together, the two balances synchronise naturally through resonance, stabilising one another and improving chronometric performance without any mechanical link between them.

Running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 40 hour power reserve and 36 jewels, the calibre features a reset to zero pusher at 4 o’clock and independent time setting for each display. Discontinued in 2009 after a short production run, the Ref.04RN is regarded by collectors as the last expression of the classic symmetrical Résonance.
