A lovely pair of 19th century single stone paste earrings.

Circa 1830/40; The faceted paste stones are lovely and bright, the stones have high crowns that catch the light fantastically.

The stones are set in a traditional silver cut down foiled setting, with closed backs.

Likely converted from buttons or cufflinks, the earrings have been set with 9ct gold shepherds hook wires.

Stone diameter approx: 0.95cm

A super stylish Victorian Elephant Hair Bangle.

The antique bracelet features three bands;
The top and bottom bands are made of high carat rolled gold tubes.

The central band is made of a single strand of Elephant hair coiled in a high carat gold strip.
The bands are joined by 14ct rolled gold crimp connectors.

The bangle is a good weight, and more sturdy than similar bangles I have found in the past.

Elephant hair jewellery became popular late in the 19th century.
It was bought as an exotic souvenir during the British Raj, when Western European adventurers started visiting India and would commission elephant hair jewellery as a souvenir of their safari experience.

Elephant hair jewellery is seen to prevent illness and harm, as well as bring love and luck.
This bangle looks fab alone or worn as part of a wrist stack.
 
Internal diameter approx: 20cm / 7.8”
Width approx: 0.65cm

An exquisite pair of Georgian high carat gold torpedo earrings.

The earrings have beautiful elongated quatrefoil torpedo drops with an elegant raised crosshatch pattern.

Known as ‘Day & Night’ earrings, the torpedo drops can be removed so the tops can be worn as elegant suds, and the drops can be added for the extra wow factor!

The earrings have a rich gold patina which adds to the charm.

The earrings are traditional ‘back to front’ design, so the gold prong passes from the back of the ear and fastens at the front. Which is actually very secure, and easy (once you get used to putting them on).

The earrings are super lightweight, so are extremely comfortable to wear. And look so elegant when worn!

An increasingly scarce example of early 19th century earrings.

A gorgeous Victorian 15ct gold and garnet coiled snake pendant.
The snakes body is made of smooth 15ct gold, the body and tail are coiled to create a 3D design.

The snakes face is so expressive; with boggle eyes, a wry smile, and he has teeth!!!

The snakes head is set with a lovely oval faceted garnet that flashes from deep red to pink.

Looks gorgeous worn on a simple chain

A super chunky antique silver cable link chain.

The large links are a hollow puffy cable link style.

The scale is epic, and looks so cool when worn.
The chain closes with a large silver bolt ring, and also has the original extender which has an additional bolt ring.

The extender can be worn as a drop to add pendants, or added in-line to make the chain slightly longer!

A seriously cool chain, that will make any outfit!

A charming vintage Acorn pendant made of 9ct gold.

The plump acorn has a crosshatch texture to replicate the cup shell, and the nut is made of smooth gold.

The acorn is hallmarked for 9ct gold, with a date mark for Birmingham 1967, and makers mark W.J.S.

In miniature form, the acorn looks gorgeous on a simple chain, or mixed in with other pendants and charms.

Nuts were used often in jewellery from the 19th century onwards due to their symbolism.
The acorn symbolised; Fertility, growth and strength.

‘From the tiny acorn, a mighty oak tree can grow.’

A super long antique silver paperclip link chain.

The fine paperclip links are joined by sections of simple belcher links.

This chain is extra special as the paperclip links are reeded which adds a lovely texture to the chain! I’ve never seen this link before.

The chain has a suspended dog clip that can be used to add pendants to the chain.

The chain can be worn comfortably up to three times around the neck for different looks.
It also looks gorgeous worn as a lariat, threading the chain through itself!

A super versatile and useful chain with a beautiful link.

A super stylish antique French curb bracelet made of 18ct gold.

The hollow curb links have a beautiful reeded pattern giving the bracelet a lovely texture, that catches the light beautifully.

The bracelet closes with a hidden tongue clasp that is in excellent working order, and there is an additional safety chain for extra security.

The tongue bears the French eagles head hallmark for 18ct gold.

The chain is a really nice weight, and is in excellent condition.

Looks epic alone or worn with a bunch of bracelets.

A superb Victorian Etruscan revival sphere pendant made in 10ct gold.

Circa 1860; the sphere is covered in gorgeous swirls of wire work, which are in fabulous condition, and very typical work of the period.

The sphere has a central chequered band of geometric raised squares.

The gold has a wonderful patina that is only possible on jewellery of this period.

Hallmarked ‘10’ on the top of the bail.

A great length antique silver graduated curb chain.

This is a classic curb, with graduated links, so the chain is lovely and chunky in the middle.

The chain is longer than I normally find at a approx 23”, making it super easy to wear alone, but it also makes a great longer layer in a stack!

The chain closes with a large dog clip and jump ring.

The chain has a lion passant on nearly every link to confirm the chain is sterling silver.

The dog clips has makers mark H.P., and one chain link has
JS*, so the dogclip has been added at some point.
Both these makers were producing in the 2nd half of the 19th century, so the chain is circa 1890/1900.

Length approx: 58.8cm / 23.1”
Width at widest point approx: 0.95cm
