Happy Global James Bond Day ✨
This year marks 20 years since Casino Royale — and to celebrate two decades since Sophie’s Algerian Loveknot became part of James Bond history, Sophie has created an extraordinary new version of the original: the Limited Edition Diamond Algerian Loveknot, set with 32 brilliant-cut diamonds and limited to just 20 pieces.

In 2006, costume designer Lindy Hemming asked Sophie to create a necklace for Vesper Lynd. Worn by Eva Green in Casino Royale, the Algerian Loveknot went on to become the piece Sophie is known for around the world.

“Meeting Eva Green for the fitting in my studio, and visiting the 007 set at Pinewood Studios whilst Martin Campbell was actually shooting the film, were highlights for me, and just so incredibly exciting. Every time I see it on screen, I am as thrilled as if it was the first time!”

Twenty years later, Sophie tells the story of how it all began — and introduces this very special diamond edition of her most iconic design.

A Love Story, 20 Years in the Making ✨ Available to purchase NOW!

To mark 20 years of Sophie’s iconic Algerian Loveknot Necklace, immortalised on screen in the legendary Bond film Casino Royale, Sophie unveils an extraordinary Limited Edition creation.

The stunning necklace, crafted in 18ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver and famously worn by Eva Green as the enigmatic Vesper Lynd, has been recreated with 32 dazzling white diamonds set into the knot and the chain drops. This exquisite piece captures the timeless elegance and enduring romance of the original with the addition of stunningly breath-taking diamond sparkle.

The contemporary take on an ancient knot design combines intricate engraving, fine wire work and detailed granulation. The T-bar clasp features Sophie’s classic signature winged heart motif, symbolising love, hope and liberation. Once attached to the T-bar the heart shaped clasp can be worn either at the nape of the neck or beside the Loveknot, as a beautiful design feature. Three strands of chain fall elegantly from the knot, sweeping around the neck. The total length of the chain around the neck including clasp is 16 1/2”, however, the length can be extended as required. The diameter of knot is 25mm and the length of longest chain hanging from knot is 85mm.

With only 20 pieces ever to be made, this exquisitely shimmering symbol of eternal love is destined to become a treasured collector’s piece.

For the first time, Sophie has created a limited edition of her iconic Algerian Loveknot necklace set with thirty-two dazzling white diamonds ✨ It marks twenty years since her original design took a starring role in Casino Royale, specially commissioned for Eva Green to wear as the alluring Vesper Lynd. A beautiful love token, the necklace went on to weave its way through the story of Quantum of Solace.

Combining silver and gold detailing, layered chains and Sophie’s signature winged heart clasp, the anniversary edition preserves every detail of the much-loved original but with thirty two sparkling white diamonds perfectly set in between the exquisite details.

Handmade in her West London studio, this is a new chapter in the Algerian Loveknot’s extraordinary story, and only twenty will be made…. Available this Friday 2nd October online ✨
