Express your individuality through bold, joyful, and sustainable textile jewellery. Meet the Maker -
Hello!

Every piece is handmade with organic cotton, adding colour, confidence, and creativity to your wardrobe or your home. Handmade by Tinni - https://www.handmadebytinni.com/

Handmade by Tinni was founded in 2020 to address the lack of colourful, fun biodegradable jewellery for fashionistas who love expressing their personality with unusual, statement jewellery pieces. I’m Paulomi – the founder, desi

gner, and maker behind Handmade by Tinni, a colourful, bold, and joy-filled brand of textile jewellery and home decor, handcrafted right here in London. I launched this creative journey in 2020, inspired by my love for vibrant colours, meaningful design, and traditional craft techniques. As someone who grew up in India and now calls London home, my work is shaped by both cultures – the riot of colours and textures I saw every day as a child, and the bold, expressive spirit of modern design I’ve come to love in the UK. Before founding Handmade by Tinni, I worked for many years in the corporate world. But deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something with my own hands – something that felt joyful, honest, and personal. That urge to create led me to explore rope knotting and macramé, and I fell in love with the process. It’s slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying – every knot tells a little story, and no two pieces are ever quite the same. Today, I design each piece of jewellery with the intention of helping people express their personality, feel confident, and add a little colour to their lives. My necklaces, earrings, and word pieces are wearable statements – playful, eye-catching, and always handmade using organic cotton and sustainable materials. I also offer unique home decor pieces and creative workshops, encouraging others to slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and experience the joy of making something with their own two hands. Sustainability is an important part of my practice. I follow a zero-waste approach, partner with Ecologi to give back to the planet, and keep all my production local. But most of all, I care about creating pieces that feel personal and joyful – the kind of jewellery that makes someone smile, sparks a conversation, or becomes their go-to favourite. Thank you for supporting handmade, independent craft. It means the world. Paulomi

What a beautiful collaboration with fellow BWB founder Ronke from loveyourlook. Ronke kindly invited me to her London photoshoot to showcase my colourful jewellery pieces, and what an unforgettable day it was.

I met the most fabulous group of women — colour lovers, fashion lovers, vibrant souls full of laughter, confidence and style. Women from diverse backgrounds, with different looks, shapes and personalities, all connected by a shared love for sustainable fashion, joyful dressing and bold colour.

The day was filled with happiness, creativity and endless inspiration as everyone wore Ronke’s fabulous dresses, jumpsuits, T-shirts, jumpers and sparkling sequins with such confidence and individuality. They all looked absolutely fabulous styled in my jewellery, accessories and belts, and it brought me so much joy seeing my designs complement so many beautiful outfits and personalities.

The love, admiration and kind compliments for my designs truly made me glow with happiness. I loved being able to add the perfect finishing touches with my jewellery to so many colourful looks. Every outfit captured personality, confidence and the joy of dressing colourfully.

A memorable day in London capturing colour, confidence and creativity in pieces that truly turn heads. Personality shone through every look behind the lens with loveyourlook.

Bright clothes, fabulous women and the best creative energy. A day full of colour, connection and joy.

Some designs are planned.
These weren’t. 🌈

After months of Christmas making, Spring Fair prep, and working on large wholesale orders, I finally had a little breathing space in the studio… and I just created for the joy of it again.

These four necklaces became little abstract paintings in thread. No sketching, no measuring out a pattern beforehand — I simply let the spring colours take over and responded to the design as I wrapped each section by hand.

What makes them even more special is the technique.
Some sections use 2 threads, some 3, some even 4 threads wrapped together at once — and I’ve intentionally left those details visible within the design so you can really see the craftsmanship and layering in every piece.

💥They’re intricate, time-consuming, and completely impossible to recreate exactly the same way again.

The inspiration actually comes from my original Glamour Collection from 2021 (last image) — one of the first collections where I really explored colourful thread wrapping in this expressive way. But as the brand grew and stockists kept requesting my bestselling designs, I never really returned to making pieces this free and experimental.

So these are truly one-offs.💥
Only 4 made. No repeats. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Each necklace took over 3 hours to create by hand, and honestly my hands can feel it 😅 — the detailing is incredibly intricate and layered.

I haven’t priced them yet, but if one of them speaks to you, send me a message before they disappear 💛

A few months ago, after exhibiting at Spring Fair, I said I wanted to start sharing more honest behind-the-scenes about trade fairs, wholesale and building a handmade brand.

Not the polished version.
The real version.

The things that worked.
The things I underestimated.
The tiny details nobody tells you until you’re standing in the middle of a 4-day trade show surviving on coffee and adrenaline 😂

Well… I finally did it.

Everything is based on my own experience as a small colourful handmade brand exhibiting at larger trade shows — including things I wish I knew earlier.

A lot of trade fair advice online can feel very generic or written by people who haven’t actually stood at a stand all day speaking to buyers, setting up displays, fixing last-minute problems and trying to remember to eat lunch 😅

So I wanted to create something genuinely useful and honest for other small brands considering exhibitions, wholesale or trade fairs.

Whether you’re planning your first event or already doing shows, I hope something in here helps 🤍

Unbelievable!
Another victory ♥️
Thank you and for the fantastic opportunity.

I’m incredibly proud to share that Handmade by Tinni is now stocked at Wolverhampton Art Gallery Shop.

I first connected with the buyer at Spring Fair, where we had a wonderful conversation around colour, contemporary craft, and the importance of thoughtfully curated retail spaces within galleries and museums. Following the show, they reached out to continue the conversation, and together we developed a collection for the shop.

To now see my textile jewellery displayed within such an inspiring cultural space feels very special.

As a designer, I’m deeply drawn to art-led retail environments that champion independent makers, craftsmanship, storytelling, and distinctive design. It’s always an honour when my work resonates within spaces that celebrate creativity and culture in such a considered way.

A huge thank you to the Wolverhampton Art Gallery team for supporting independent artists and contemporary craft.

If you’re visiting the gallery, do stop by the shop and explore the beautifully curated collection of artists and makers on display 💛

And if you’re a museum, gallery, or cultural retail space looking for bold, contemporary textile jewellery with strong storytelling and colour-led design, I’d love to connect.
