Snapshot of a fantastic day with packed schedule at the Great British Pitch India on Tuesday, pitching my brand to Indian buyers!

The event was then followed by bus journey (in a branded bus!) to Downing Street, where the Chancellor held a lunchtime reception for all attendees.

It was an incredible day all round and great to see spirits high after the pitches!

A fabulous day with Small Business Britain
at No. 10 and 11 Downing Street, following an invitation from Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves.

As I stood at that famous black door, I thought about the young girl from Kolkata who simply loved creating things with her hands. She could never have imagined that one day she would be here.

I create contemporary textile jewellery that brings together craftsmanship, colour and artistic design. Using cotton rope as my primary medium, I create wearable pieces that sit somewhere between jewellery, fashion accessories and art.

Since launching my business Handmade by Tinni in London in 2020, what began as a creative practice has grown into a recognised brand, stocked by cultural institutions and collected internationally.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey, championed my work and believed in the vision. This moment belongs to all of you too.

When Annie met Zandra. 🌈

Two of my style and colour icons talking about colour, creativity, joy and their shared love of India.


As someone born and raised in India, and now designing colourful jewellery in London, I loved every minute of this conversation.

And there was an extra moment of joy: Annie wearing my handmade word necklace — ‘pink’ knotted in turquoise blue. 💙

The verdict is in...

A few days ago, I asked you all to help me choose a fair price for these necklaces I’ve been making recently.

These are whimsical, cotton thread-wrapped necklaces, each one completely unique. I didn’t follow any pattern or design rules, so no piece can ever be repeated.

Each necklace takes around 3 hours to make, with some incorporating 3–4 base threads and up to 7–8 coloured threads woven together.

The pricing options were £30, £32, £35 and £38, and around 60% of you chose £30 as the fairest price. So I’m going with your verdict: **£30 each.**

There are only four available, and each is a one-off piece.

What a beautiful collaboration with fellow BWB founder Ronke from loveyourlook. Ronke kindly invited me to her London photoshoot to showcase my colourful jewellery pieces, and what an unforgettable day it was.




I met the most fabulous group of women — colour lovers, fashion lovers, vibrant souls full of laughter, confidence and style. Women from diverse backgrounds, with different looks, shapes and personalities, all connected by a shared love for sustainable fashion, joyful dressing and bold colour.

The day was filled with happiness, creativity and endless inspiration as everyone wore Ronke’s fabulous dresses, jumpsuits, T-shirts, jumpers and sparkling sequins with such confidence and individuality. They all looked absolutely fabulous styled in my jewellery, accessories and belts, and it brought me so much joy seeing my designs complement so many beautiful outfits and personalities.

The love, admiration and kind compliments for my designs truly made me glow with happiness. I loved being able to add the perfect finishing touches with my jewellery to so many colourful looks. Every outfit captured personality, confidence and the joy of dressing colourfully.

A memorable day in London capturing colour, confidence and creativity in pieces that truly turn heads. Personality shone through every look behind the lens with loveyourlook.
