We were delighted to be featured top of the list in Country & Townhouse magazine's guide on the best places to shop a bespoke engagement ring in London.

What makes an engagement ring feel special? Maybe it’s the cut and colour of the stone, the hidden message engraved inside the band, or that elements of

Introducing Sam - Meet the people behind the pieces. Gathering pebbles on the beach as a child, few would have believed Sam when he said his dream was to become a jeweller. Now the founder of our award winning brand, his infectious passion keeps us striving for more.

Well that was a wonderful surprise... We are delighted to share that Blackacre was named Bespoke Jewellery Retailer of the Year at Wednesday night’s Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards 2026.

This marks our second national award for bespoke jeweller in less than 12 months (following our recognition as Bespoke Jeweller of the Year at the National Association of Jewellers Awards 2025). As a small team that cares deeply about all we do, recognition from two of the industry’s leading organisations means so much to us.

Thank you to our clients for entrusting us with some of life’s most significant moments, from engagements and anniversaries to personal milestones. Creating jewellery that carries such meaning is a privilege we never take for granted. The care, craftsmanship and attention to detail brought to every commission remain at the heart of everything we do.

While much of what we create remains private, we believe it is important to pause and celebrate moments like this. As our team and vision continue to grow, we are excited for all that lies ahead.

Here is how the night unfolded - featuring the fastest film development of all time (including a slightly fraught session on the dodgems!).

Elegance in simplicity... A bespoke emerald-cut diamond framed by custom trapezoid side stones and a pod of round brilliant-cut diamonds to create a striking contrast and full coverage across the finger.

As a small independent brand, hearing that someone has travelled from New York just to visit you stops you in your tracks.

Around a year ago we were visited by T&C after they came across our work. We knew they were visiting from New York, but it wasn’t until the meeting began that it dawned on us they had travelled to London solely to see us.

Over the following months, we worked together on a design that encapsulated everything they loved about our work. A balanced piece, timeless and sophisticated in nature yet still perfectly unique to them. A splash of colour, light and subtle so as not to overwhelm, but enough to spark a quiet intrigue.

We were so touched by their visit. While we created a ring they will cherish for a lifetime and beyond, they created a moment and memory for us that will stay with us forever. Thank you.

Welcome to Colombia.

Our search for Colombian emeralds was led by Sam & Laura , alongside a film crew and a team of local experts.

The expedition spanned ten days and took us from the heart of Bogotá into the jungle regions of Muzo and Chivor - areas renowned for producing some of the world’s most exceptional emeralds - before returning to the laboratories in the city.

Here are some of our favourite behind-the-scenes moments from a journey that shaped the Origins Collection (or you can watch our full film, documenting the trip, at the link in bio.)

Intricate detail and elegant silhouettes. In a floral and organic design a Royal Blue Sri Lankan sapphire sits nestled between an array of pear and round shaped diamonds.

As ever, we delight in the details that aren’t always visible at a first glance.
