To all our wonderful customers, colleagues and friends
It is with a huge mixture of sadness in giving up all the fun and joy we have had designing jewellery for you all, relief for not having to navigate our way through all the changes and challenges facing our industry today and, especially, excitement to embrace all that the rest of our lives holds for us, that the time has finally come for Cherry and I to announce our retirement! Nigel Milne Ltd will cease to be from 30th June 2026.
There, we have said it!
I have often wondered what it would actually be like to close this hugely wonderful and happy chapter of our lives but there is so much more that we want to do!
We have had forty-seven years of immense fun and success in building up our business and what we value above all else is the trust, loyalty, kindness and friendship that all of you have given us.
Over these years, we have met the most lovely, varied and fascinating people through our various shops in London and on our travels abroad exhibiting at fairs and sourcing jewels. We have had many wonderful commissions and it has been an absolute honour to see our creations being worn by some of the most remarkable people on the most significant occasions – mental images that we shall treasure forever!
It has also been such a privilege to have been entrusted with the responsibility of making hugely significant and personal jewels such as engagement rings and special Birthday or Anniversary celebratory presents, incorporating details that were meaningful to only the donor and recipient and we shall always be eternally grateful and appreciative of these opportunities.
So, we would like to thank you all, our amazing customers, our wonderful colleagues who have helped us in all our shops and those in the wider jewellery trade, and, of course, all our friends from the very, very bottom of our hearts for making our working life such a joy!
