Through exploration and experimentation of shape and form, Alma Sophia creates pieces that are inviting to touch, handle and wear. Using square tube to develop the forms, Alma allows the pieces to have volume and convey a sculptural feel whilst remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear.

May’s icon of the month - The (birth of) Venus earrings. Named after the famous paining by Botticelli. Discovering a pearl in an oyster is one of nature’s amazing treasures. In these earrings, I’ve reimagined this wonder by using the pearl as a delicate setting for precious gold and sparkling diamonds, allowing the treasures to nestle within the natural beauty of the pearl itself - just like Venus rising from the shell. Each pearl is unique which I love, making each earring pair different too.
