Some things are worth taking time over.

Every piece I create is shaped, soldered and finished by hand. There are lots of little stages between the initial idea and the finished piece, each requiring its own care and attention.

I love seeing these pieces come to life at my workbench, and even more so when they’re finally being worn.

This weekend we’re setting up at Coal Drops Yard Kiosk N1C with a curated selection of our hand crafted jewellery.

We’ll have loads of shining recycled sterling silver pieces and we always bring experimental pieces and things you won’t find on the website.

Sophie wears The Loop earring in one ear and The Arc earring in the other. I designed these so that you could mix and match with whatever feels right that day, whether it’s stacking a few of the Walking Line collection on one ear and one singular piece on the other, or wearing a matching set.

A little behind the scenes of making the Walking Line series - from the initial sketches and experiments at my workbench, through to shaping each piece by hand and seeing how it sits when worn.

I love this part of the process. An idea that begins as a few marks on paper slowly becoming something three-dimensional, wearable and completely its own.

The Walking Line series is all about line, movement and the small irregularities that come from making by hand. No two pieces follow quite the same path.

Each earring can be bought individually, so you can mix, match, layer and play - wearing a different combination on each ear, adding more when you feel like it, or keeping things beautifully simple.
