Formed 26-28 millions years ago when quartz-rich desert sand was exposed to a heat burst of 3,600°F and then rapidly cooled. Modern researchers noted that LDG has a different crystal structure than common quartz and contains traces of rare minerals and unusual elements, suggesting they could have been part of a vaporised meteorite. Found exclusively at the Great Sand Sea in the eastern Sahara Desert along the border of western Egypt and eastern Libya.

It’s been a busy week and a crazy morning!! 😂 All these rainbow beauties have been packed and just been collected. This has taken me all week and I haven’t done much else. Normal service can now resume!!

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby!! Tuesday greetings to you! I have just listed this beauty! These genuine Ruby beads are rather lovely. Great colour and a high vibe, with a bead size of 7.8mm - 8mm. Although I only have one in stock at the moment, I do hope to acquire more in the future. They are most likely the beads I have sold the most of without ever making a listing!

If you have ever bought a Copper mineral based bracelet from me, you probably have a few of these bits in your collection… 😍
Made solely for a bracelet photoshoot, it has since become one of my favourite display boxes 🩵
