@ Work's first outlet was established in Brick Lane in 1998 and quickly became recognised as one of the leading outlets for contemporary jewellery in the UK. In 2004 they were awarded the prestigious title of 'Best Independant Shop' by Time Out and now stock the works of over 80 UK and International makers. The second gallery was opened in 2005 in Pimlico, with a basement workshop for courses, bespoke orders, repairs and rental to jewellers.
@ Work is owned and run by jewellery designers Joanna Butler and Adele Tipler.

Do you need a FREE Jewellery workshop in Central London? We have an opening for our Artist in Residence opportunity. In exchange for running our Gallery one day a fortnight the successful applicant has free access every day of the week to our fully equipped basement jewellery workshop. Just look at what can be created from discarded lino!! With lots of hard work and thoughtful design new life can be given to so many objects intended for landfill. has made this striking brooch and necklace combination and we love it! Soon on its way to for their themed series of Jewellery events 10th to 16th September 'I wanna be adorned' See what they did there the clever mancunians 😜 👌

It's broken fairy lights! Having a gallery for 27 years you can get through quite a lot of Christmas lights and yes, you guessed it, Jo and Adele kept them all for THIS moment. Jeweller Frances Stunt made such a wonderful collection from the various parts of the lights, light loopy earrings and necklaces, bold red earrings and a gorgeous mix of natural and man made in the beautiful statement necklace. Don't forget tours to 10th to 16th September. See you there!

It's made from old beading reels!! Wonderfully transformed by into this fabulous necklace using colourful netting. Exciting news! The whole exhibition is on tour in September for (10th to 16th) and then continues at another venue. We can't wait to spread the word about the beauty of using landfill for design

It's made from a plastic bead curtain and has been totally transformed by for our parcel challenge exhibition. Kate has dyed the clear beads and strung together in cluster drops creating this beautiful statement necklace and earrings. and given a new lease of life we love this stunning jewellery set.

What would you do with a box of stationary? The amount of colouring pencils and rulers that accumulate during school years is shocking! So we saved them all for a rainy day and a parcel challenge for Kath experimented extensively with heat treating the rulers to make them bend correctly into chain loops and the colouring pencils have been colour categorised to make a very lovely bracelet in natural hues. Slight mistake in my video apologies, end date is 20th July for this exhibition
