@ Work's first outlet was established in Brick Lane in 1998 and quickly became recognised as one of the leading outlets for contemporary jewellery in the UK. In 2004 they were awarded the prestigious title of 'Best Independant Shop' by Time Out and now stock the works of over 80 UK and International makers. The second gallery was opened in 2005 in Pimlico, with a basement workshop for courses, bes

poke orders, repairs and rental to jewellers.

What would you do with a box of stationary? The amount of colouring pencils and rulers that accumulate during school years is shocking! So we saved them all for a rainy day and a parcel challenge for Kath experimented extensively with heat treating the rulers to make them bend correctly into chain loops and the colouring pencils have been colour categorised to make a very lovely bracelet in natural hues. Slight mistake in my video apologies, end date is 20th July for this exhibition

It's lozenges tins and a wellington boot, transformed into brooches of four seasons and a gorgeous statement necklace. As with all the work made for it looks wonderful on the wall when not being worn. The brooches make a particularly stunning arrangement. In return for a fortnightly Saturday shift at the gallery the successful applicant will receive free daily access to our basement workshop, plus the opportunity to display work in the gallery.
