A perfect summer evening at Stationers’ Hall last night for the Young Stationers’ Garden Party 2026

From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting plenty of new ones, the garden was filled with great conversations, laughter, live blues music, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why this industry community is so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the start of summer — and of course, no Young Stationers’ event would be complete without a cheese straw (or three!)

Already looking forward to the next one.

Stationery Icons
The book that needed to be written.

A big congratulations to Chris Leonard-Morgan on the official launch of his book Stationery Icons at the London International Stationery Show today.

Stationery Icons is a prestigious 304 page, large-size hardback coffee table book with a foreword by Ryman owner Theo Paphitis. The publication of Stationery Icons is timely. In an age defined by digital communications, people are reaching for pen and paper again – not out of necessity, but by choice.

What a milestone and huge achievement.

Chris founded the Stationery (& Office Products as it was initially known) Show nearly twenty years ago, and National Stationery Week in 2013. He is a recognised champion of stationery and the importance of handwriting, and a Liveryman of The Stationers' Company.

What a fabulous event at Stationers' Hall last night, showing strength in partnership between the Stationers' and the Musicians Companies.

Sam Jackson, Controller of BBC Radio 3 and BBC Proms gave the second ever Purcell Lecture at Stationers’ Hall on ‘The role of the BBC in Music – Custodian, Curator or Creator?’

Ably moderated by Stationer Liveryman Roger Lewis, himself no stranger to running radio stations. Over 130 people enjoyed a well-crafted lecture, interspersed with excellent live music from pianist Chloe Dumoulin and double bassist Strahinja Mitrovic, named one of Classic FM’s ‘30 under 30 Rising Stars’.
