Jewellery Artist | Inspired by Kazimir Malevich
My work as a multidisciplinary jewellery artist and goldsmith is heavily influenced by the language of modern art — particularly the radical simplicity and geometric abstraction of Kazimir Malevich.
Malevich’s ideas around shape, space, balance and reduction have had a lasting influence on the way I design jewellery. I’m fascinated by how a simple geometric form can become powerful when proportion, negative space and structure are carefully considered.
I bring that thinking into my own work at the bench, combining handmade goldsmithing, contemporary jewellery design and traditional craftsmanship to create pieces that sit somewhere between jewellery and small-scale sculpture.
With over 30 years of experience as a goldsmith, I’m interested in pushing jewellery beyond decoration — creating bespoke engagement rings, fine jewellery and one-of-a-kind pieces where architecture, modern art and craftsmanship meet.
For me, the inspiration might begin with a painting, a building or a geometric shape. The challenge is then translating that idea into something that can actually be worn, lived with and made by hand.

Carved from gold and sculpted by hand, this statement ring features dramatic knife-edge detailing flowing around the band, creating a bold architectural texture that catches the light from every angle.
