Made By Ore Jewellery Studio Made By Ore founded by RCA alumni Caren Hartley and Lucie Gledhill, is a collective brought together by a love of making.

"Extracting metal from metal ore, like the thought process itself, starts with exploration, estimation, development and activity; refining and perfecting until the balance of concept and material is found. We approach the world with our hands." In the heart of East London Caren and Lucie run jewellery and silversmithing workshops ranging from Beginner level to Masterclasses. The studio also offers

a 'hot bench' service where makers can hire a fully equipped bench for as long or as little as they need. Made By Ore provide a committed, supportive and flexible working environment where professional and expert advice is always at hand.

So, what's included in our 8 week course, you ask?

You'll learn how to make a ring, then set a stone on top of your ring, then you'll learn how to carve in wax, using a few techniques to create different finishes as you desire 🌞 you'll learn how to make a chain and maybe even make it into a ring ⛓️ and you'll have two sessions at the end to work on your own projects 🤗 we have a course running in June and July and another one later in the year, check the website for more details, we hope to see you in the workshop
