Tribead ends are my not-so-secret favourite 😌

Dainty and delicate, simple yet stunning, these tiny little ends somehow make a subtle statement no matter where you put them.

They can go pretty much anywhere, but their size makes them perfect for nostril, tragus and forward helix piercings. I also love them in lobes, particularly as a complementary accent in a second or third or heading up a lobe stack.

I also think these are the perfect introduction to wearing gold because these timeless designs go with almost anything and their small size puts them at a more entry-level price point (as gold goes). While some companies do make these in titanium, they tend to be a bit bigger than those made in gold.

These little guys from Buddha Jewelry are just 2mm overall. They are the teeniest tiniest tribead ends I’ve come across 🤩

For comparison the closest equivalent I have in titanium is 3.5mm – it may not sound like much of a difference, but aesthetically it really is. That’s not to say bigger tribeads don’t have their place, but for the dainty look you’re better off looking at gold.

They might not be the fanciest feature in an ear stack, but in my opinion they are the MVPs… or at least the best backup dancers. They’re an exquisite garnish that ties the dish together or the acid that brings out the flavour. They are the dark hardwood floors that look great on their own but also set the scene to make your fireplace look luxurious. They are the backbone of our societ—

—Okay maybe that’s taking things too far, but I think they’re great.

Fresh helix piercing from the other week! 🖤

This is the standard jewellery for most fresh piercings I offer. Other options are available if you want to upgrade to a gem or particular piece, but sometimes a new piercing is all you need!

What I love about modern body jewellery is that you can change the front without really disturbing the bar in the back.

Back in the day of external threads lots of the decorative ends would come attached to their own bars and if it wasn’t the size you needed that was it – you couldn’t have it!

Sometimes things were the right size but the wrong design – I remember dropping the back ball of a tragus barbell (with an attached ice cream front) in my ear and then repeatedly smacking the other side of my head trying to get it to fall out 😂

It’s all different now. You can just change the front.

Younger me would be bamboozled to see where the industry is at now. Thankfully, this is the starting point for other young ladies like this one 🙌🏾

I have finally finished adding everything from the UKAPP conference haul to the website 👀

There are A LOT of new pieces but here are a few favourites 🤩

Obviously these are the fanciest of fancy things, but not all that glitters is gold! There is lots of new titanium too! Clusters, opals and all the standard stuff from NeoMetal Body Jewelry, INARI ORGANICS UK and CS Body Jewelry as well as some of Tawapa’s new gold-bonded titanium!

Something for every budget and something for every one (including me if no one takes that Mushroom Body Jewelry🍄🇺🇸 heart 👀)

UKAPP 2026 💫

This week I spent 3 days at the UKAPP conference taking lots of classes, meeting lots of people and buying lots of jewellery! 😌

It was incredible to be immersed in the industry and I came back so pumped! 🥳

It can feel so daunting going to big conference events like this as a one man band without colleagues to hide behind, but it’s also so important to connect with other piercing peers and learn from them (and even make some piercing pals along the way)! I am so grateful I live in a timeline where events like this exist at this scale 😩🙌🏾

I returned bursting with new knowledge, ideas and excitement as well as lots of new goodies 🤩

I’ve finally started the mammoth task of taking photos of all the new body jewellery I got and I can’t wait to show you all! In the meantime, swipe for a little preview of what I picked up 👀

Big thank you to UKAPP as well as all the speakers, vendors, volunteers and piercing community that make these events what they are 🖤

This time next week I’ll be at the UKAPP conference! Three days of learning, networking and selecting new jewellery!

I am very excited and feel like this is just what I need to improve my processes, piercings, product selection and people-skills!

Swipe to see the list of vendors (tagged)! Have a look at their profiles and let me know what catches your eye 👀

I’ll do a little haul at some point during or after and I will absolutely be accepting dibs with a deposit!

Last time I went to conference it was a complete game-changer for my career and my cabinet. Here’s hoping for the same again 🙌🏾

PS. Piercer Pals of Instagram: It’s been a while since I’ve been to conference, so please come say hi if you see me 👋🏾

Some of my favourite portfolio pieces and projects from over the years to give you some ear-nspiration 👂

Ear curations don’t happen overnight and rarely over one appointment. Sometimes it starts with a plan and a commitment to it, sometimes we freestyle – it varies from client to client.

A great project works with your anatomy and uses jewellery to complement that. Sometimes jewellery is chosen first, something catches your eye and the perfect placement is found for it (if it can be, we are all different and some pieces just won’t work for some people). Other times it feels like the anatomy screams for what it needs.

Sometimes you don’t need a stacked set-up to make a statement though. Sometimes the jewellery says it all.

Big and bold, delicate and dainty, or a combination of the two, we can find the perfect piece for your anatomy and aesthetic.

Whether you’re looking to get a single piercing or curate a collection, I’ve got you covered! Get in touch if you have any questions or book an appointment if you’re ready to get started.

I’ve been a bit quiet with posting lately…

Partly because I’ve been busy doing a few things behinds the scenes like:
• Tinkering with the website and adding more information for those looking to get pierced
• Bulk editing jewellery photos (a job that comes with every new stock order)
• Optimising the online store pages to make it easier for people to find what they’re looking for
• Trying to tickle Google’s chin so people can find me more easily
• Gearing up for the UKAPP conference by studying piercing techniques (among other things) so I can improve and optimise my set up
• Working on a content strategy so I can be more consistent and grow (hopefully one I can sustain)

And partly because it’s wedding season and there’s a lot going on and at the end of the day sometimes I just want to play Xbox 😂

It would be too simple if being a body piercer was as simple as just piercing bodies and all that comes with that, right? There are all these other tasks that’s branch off from that and they all still need to be done.

One person, one business, one thing, but many branches. Spread in all directions. Much like this Aspen end from Junipurr Jewelry 🌱

Anyway, that’s what I’m busy with. What are you working on? What branches are you climbing?

Name a better duo 👀

Wedding season is upon us and with that comes a few weekend closures on the 15th and the 21-22nd and 29th.

That means this Saturday 8th is the last Saturday availability in August 😩

During this time I will stretch some of the weekday hours to accommodate not being in on the next few Saturdays so hopefully if you can’t get in during the week daytime you can get in in an evening!

Appointment only as always 📆

Sorry for any inconvenience! Love waits for no one (or insert some other equally cheesy phrase) 🖤

I think this 18kt yellow gold duo end with white CZs from Anatometal anatometaluk worked out at the perfect piece for this announcement! Maybe it’s the perfect piece for you too? ✨

Wedding ready 🖤

I recently had the pleasure of styling Sian Elvin’s ears for her wedding 💍

Mixed metals with a rose gold emphasis, including a gorgeous rose gold Andreia end in the conch from Junipurr Jewelry 😍

Congratulations bestie! You’re getting married!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for the trust (and patience while I took 1683 photos across 2 phones only to still feel like I could have got a better shot 😂) 🖤
