Company Overview

Unconventionally elegant: Elizabeth’s unique artistry knows no bounds. Timeless, the essence of Elizabeth Gage oscillates between her love of art and that of precious stones. Enchanted by her studies at Chelsea Art School and the British Museum, Elizabeth’s desire to channel her creativity into jewellery was sparked. With a unique philosophy, Elizabeth set out to create jeweller

y that was wearable from “day into night”. Presented with an ounce of gold after completing her jeweller’s qualifications at Sir John Cass College, not only did Elizabeth fashion her first ring but born, was a new age jewellery lifestyle signed Elizabeth Gage. Beyond a jewel, Elizabeth’s work is also an expression of how she sees the world around her: the art of nature, the myths of the past, the richness of different cultures and the ludic animal kingdom, all fuel her creativity. Starting with a precious jewel, an exquisite fossil or an historical treasure, each piece has a story. Avant-garde, her pieces of meticulous craftsmanship, bold colour and material combinations are globally identifiable, to such an extent that when one of her creations was found in a New York gutter, the owner was able to be sourced and reunited with her jewel. The significance of Elizabeth’s work and the impact she has had on the world of jewellery has been widely recognised receiving, amongst other accolades, the Queens Award for Export, the De Beers Diamond Award and furthermore her work features in the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum as part of their permanent jewellery collection. A mark that endures.

For centuries, ancient roller seals were used to leave impressions in clay, carrying stories, symbols and signatures across the ancient world. Elizabeth Gage was captivated by their beauty and history, transforming these remarkable artefacts into jewels that honour their original purpose.

Using the lost-wax casting process, the intricate designs of the ancient seals are carefully captured in gold, preserving every detail. The finished ring can still create an impression today, just as the original seal did thousands of years ago.

A rare meeting of archaeology, craftsmanship and imagination - where the past leaves its mark on the present.

Gold has captivated civilisations for thousands of years.

Its warmth never fades, its lustre never diminishes, and unlike fashion, it belongs to no particular era. For Elizabeth Gage, yellow gold has always been the natural choice - its richness bringing depth, character and life to every jewel.

Whether textured, sculpted, polished or engraved, gold is more than a setting; it is an essential part of the design itself. A material that carries history within it while feeling as powerful and relevant today as it did centuries ago.

Perhaps that is why Elizabeth has remained devoted to it for over sixty years.

A remarkable piece of historical jewellery, this 18ct gold pendant is centred with an authentic Byzantine Gold Solidus coin depicting Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, dating from 610–641 AD. Rich in heritage, the coin reflects the grandeur and artistry of the Byzantine Empire.

For Elizabeth, jewellery has always been about more than beauty. It is about preserving history, celebrating craftsmanship, and creating pieces that feel as meaningful today as they would have centuries ago.

Wear a piece of history. Carry a story that has already stood the test of time.

Some jewels are too precious to leave unworn.
Inherited from a loved one, gathered at another stage of life, or simply no longer suited to the wearer — so many treasured pieces stay tucked away, their beauty unseen.
Through Jewellery Reimagined, we transform these jewels into designs made to be worn, loved and passed on once more. Each one drawn, modelled and reworked by hand in our London workshop.

A symbol of strength across millennia.

Inspired by a Phoenician pendant from the 7th–6th Century BC, this striking gold pendant pays tribute to Tanit, the powerful goddess revered throughout the ancient Mediterranean. Elizabeth has always been captivated by the artistry and symbolism of ancient civilisations, translating their enduring beauty into jewels for today.

Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the figure is outlined in molten gold and embellished with polished gold beads and intricate granulation—techniques whose origins can be traced back thousands of years.

A piece that feels both ancient and entirely contemporary, carrying with it a sense of mystery, history and quiet power.

Jewellery that becomes part of you.

There is something unmistakable about an Elizabeth Gage jewel in wear. The warmth of 18ct gold, the depth of hand-selected gemstones, the satisfying weight that speaks of true craftsmanship.

Designed not for occasions alone, but for a lifetime of moments, these are jewels that settle naturally into the rhythm of their wearer’s life — growing richer with every memory they accompany.

Collected over time, worn every day, treasured for generations.

An icon, never a uniform.

Elizabeth Gage’s Templar rings are among her most recognisable creations — bold, sculptural and unmistakably individual. Designed to be collected and worn every day, they come in a variety of silhouettes, gemstone combinations and proportions, allowing each wearer to find the perfect fit for their hand and personal style.

From elegant tapered designs to statement-making domes, every Templar ring carries the same distinctive spirit: timeless craftsmanship, remarkable comfort, and a presence that feels as natural as it does extraordinary.

A signature of the house for over six decades, made to become part of your story.

*"Although, at first, believing that to make earrings could be an easy step after rings, I quickly realised the enormity of the task because every woman has unique ears."*

For Elizabeth, this discovery became an invitation rather than a limitation.

An invitation to explore endless possibilities of form, colour and texture. To create jewels that range from the quietly sculptural to the richly ornate. To experiment with carved stones, luminous cabochons, enamel, hammered gold and unexpected combinations of gems.

Perhaps this is why there is no such thing as a quintessential Elizabeth Gage earring.

Only a collection of singular designs, each with its own personality, waiting to find the woman for whom it was intended.

There are women who follow fashion, and there are women who cultivate a style entirely their own. Elizabeth Gage always designed for the latter.

"Earrings are the finishing touches to a face. Different shapes suit different individuals, so to me the shape of the face always dictates the style of the earring."

To Elizabeth, an earring was never merely an ornament. It was a study in proportion, balance and character. The curve of hammered gold, the lustre of a pearl, the brilliance of a gemstone, each chosen not to conform to a trend, but to complement the woman who wears it.

No two faces are alike. No two women are alike.

Why, then, should their jewellery be?

For over six decades, Elizabeth has created earrings for women who value individuality above fashion and character above convention. A quiet form of rebellion, perhaps. The most elegant kind.
