‘ When old friends come to visit’
I drool over these large cabochon Paraiba tourmaline rings which I made many years ago now as you can not find stones like this any more and have not been able to for the last five to ten years hence they are worth not double but probably four times but value is nothing when their intrinsic natural beauty of a tactile piece.

A selection of drop earrings suitable for weddings,Ascot or any other summer event. I chose the sapphire and South Sea pearl earrings to wear to Ascot yesterday as they just look good with everything.

I am very excited about this new Paraiba tourmaline ring.
It is a large cushion shaped stone which I have set in an 18 carat triple bezel setting to a statement effect.

These earrings were a bespoke commission. I was asked to source the teal coloured sapphires which I found on my stone buying trip earlier this year. They are a slightly underrated stone as the colour is superb and especially set in the 18 carat yellow gold textured gold like these it just sets them off even more.

June is one of only three months that has three birthstones. These are pearl,alexandrite and moonstone.
Moonstone is renowned for its adularescence which is the light that appears to billow across a gemstone giving it a special glow.
The finest moonstones like the one in this ring have a blue sheen.
I like to set them in 18 carat yellow gold for the contrast of hues or a white metal such as silver or gold.

I have only once made a cluster ring of Paraiba tourmaline stones quite a while ago as it is always so hard to find the colours and sizes that work together so I am excited to be able to design this one.

This large Paraiba tourmaline ( 7 carats) was commissioned by a client who visited from overseas at Christmas especially to view my Paraiba tourmaline collection and fell in love with this stone. She wanted it set in my signature beaten style setting and hung on an existing 18 carat gold torque with textured beaten finish.
The result is stunning and the client was over the moon with how wonderful the Paraiba looked when it is set ie even better. So a happy journey to pick up the finished item.

These South Sea pearl drops are so pure in colour and perfect in shape( as I mentioned it has become much harder to source pairs now)
Matched with the Cornflower blue of the Ceylon drops , these are a stunning, simple wearable pair of earrings.

The June birthstones are pearl, Alexandrite and moonstone.
Pearls are the primary and most traditional of these.
They are organic gems created inside living mollusks.
They are traditionally given and worn as a wedding gift.
I particularly love the South Sea and Tahitian pearls which are becoming harder to source especially pairs.
A classic row of pearls is so elegant and can be versatile when a pendant is added.

When I sold my Paraiba tourmaline and diamond three stone ring similar to this at the beginning of the year my post almost went viral with so many comments of people loving it.
This one has a stone to equal which is hard these days and even bigger diamonds either side. All set in 18 carat beaten gold.
Another stunner awaits.
