Grateful for the little things like; jewellery that doesn’t wait for an occasion; slow mornings; my daily coffee; creating more than I consume; friends who feel like home 🫶🏽

There’s a version of gratitude that only shows up on big days, and there’s the version we’re actually interested in; the one that lives in the ordinary stuff, the stuff nobody photographs on purpose. Everyday jewellery has always meant more to me than occasion jewellery for exactly this reason. A piece that gets worn every single day, through the boring mornings and the good ones, ends up meaning more than something saved for once a year in a drawer.

That’s really the whole idea behind how we design and think about sustainable jewellery — not jewellery for a moment, but jewellery for a life. Gold that gets to exist alongside your actual routine, your actual coffee, your actual people, rather than something precious you’re afraid to wear. Slow mornings and small joys don’t need permission to matter, and neither does the gold you put on to go with them.

If gratitude is a practice, mine currently looks like this: coffee going cold while we answer a message we care about, creating something instead of endlessly scrolling past what everyone else made, and the friends who make ordinary days feel like enough. Everyday gold, for an everyday life. That’s the whole philosophy, really.

There’s something about autumn that feels less like an ending and more like an edit, the leaves aren’t dying, they’re just deciding what’s actually worth carrying into the next season.

Sapphire’s always struck me as an autumn stone even though nobody officially claims it for the season. It’s got that same quality the trees have right now, something rich and a little moody, but never sad about it. Worn as a full set, it does something I genuinely didn’t expect: it doesn’t feel like getting dressed up, it feels like getting dressed down into something more like myself.

It’s not about going bolder for the sake of the season, it’s about wearing the piece that actually matches how you’re feeling as the year quietly turns over.
