Design your own silver ring from scratch in wax and create something completely your own.

Our Design Your Own Silver Ring workshop is all about shaping your design by hand — whether that’s something simple and classic, organic and textured, or more of a statement piece.
You’ll carve and refine your ring in wax, and once your design is complete, we take care of the casting and finishing in solid silver.

No experience needed — we guide you through every step.

Hammers at the ready. It’s a hands-on introduction to jewellery making, designed for complete beginners. You’ll be guided through the core techniques — filing, annealing, soldering and hammering — before creating your own hammered silver ring to take home.

Work in progress — just 3 of the signet blanks cast in cuttlebone in our Cast a Signet Ring workshop.

Oval, shield and hexagon forms. We’ve smoothed the tops to remove the natural texture — now ready for a high polish. Here you can see glimpses of that texture along the sides of the signets.

In this workshop, you can leave with your finished signet ring on the day — unless you choose to add gemstones, engraving or gold plating.

Cuttlebone casting leaves a completely unique texture in the metal, formed by the natural structure of the bone — no two casts are ever the same.
