Ellenlou Fine Jewellery Hi - I'm Ellie. Welcome to my studio - part working workshop, part independent gallery - a space to celebrate the slow, beautiful journey of hand craft.

I specialise in bespoke jewellery & remodelling, using traditional hand fabrication & wax carving. Hello, I'm Ellie, and I'm a designer-maker specialising in the slow, intentional craft of bespoke jewellery. From my private workshop in Ludlow, I hand-carve and create unique pieces that are designed to tell your specific story. I believe that jewellery should reflect life's most meaningful moments, and my focus is always on quality craftsmanship—whether that's a complex wax carving for an engagement ring or detailed stone setting for a bespoke pendant. BESPOKE / Hand-Carved Ruby & Diamond Twist ♥️

Commissioned by a daughter-father team as a milestone birthday gift - I was given a loose brief of an oval ruby with two pear-shaped diamonds, but had complete creative freedom to bring it to life. This piece holds a very special place in my studio journey - it was my first bespoke project, created entirely without CAD. Embracing a fully handmade 'no digital' approach, every element was sculpted by hand in the wax I've come to love through flower sculpting. I have since fully adopted the handmade, leaning into personal growth, a signature aesthetic & pushing my skill set. I'm slowly getting there with honing a style. It's a journey! 🌄

BESPOKE / 'Ron's Farm Shop' Cufflinks - a special request for a special birthday, inspired by a Dad's love for growing 🌱

Working from photographs of his vegetable garden and farm shop, and with my love of a mis-match - we settled on a playful pair : watering can on one side, and a punnet of raspberries on the other. With hand-stamped lettering along the tiny wooden crate. This was a fun one to make!

BESPOKE / One from the archive - Damselfly studs to replace a pair lost long ago. I matched them as closely as possible to memories... Tiny 1mm flush set rubies and hand engraved wings - hopefully they stay a pair for a long time! 👯‍♀️

For those that are forever losing earrings - I can recommend the LOX earring backs, they are brilliant and I recently discovered that the inventor is from Ludlow!

Now I just need to get lesson planning! Mini jewellery school coming soon to Ludlow (I can’t promise when, as you can see the current level of chaos from the last video 🙈) but this is the start, wheels are nudging in the right direction!

B E S P O K E : ✨Marigold, Daisy & Pink Tourmaline Birth Flower Birthstone Ring. My teeniest flower carving yet 🔎🌼

What started as a simple vision for a three-ring family stack, blossomed into something more personal when a client’s partner suggested incorporating her
passion for flower-growing. Designs grew wild and to hit an ideal spend we condensed the concept into a two-ring stack. This piece - the first half of a final
cluster - brings together a marigold for October, a daisy for April, and a dreamy
pink tourmaline. Celebrating family through botanicals.

Scaling down from my large flower sculptures to a miniature wearable size was a fun challenge. The flowers were hand-carved then cast via the lost wax process, with the pink tourmaline in delicate three-claws between the blooms. The band holds another special meaning: a cast of a twig foraged in Bournville back when I lived in Stirchley - the place where my journey of flower sculpting first began.

This collection launch has been an absolute hyper focus labour of love. I know there's a lot of functionality I could have left out. But I'm a web nerd and story is important. What are we without stories?

There's eleven hand cut patterns to choose from, as many or little birthstones as you fancy, across any metal from silver to platinum, 9ct and 18ct. Starting from £190 in silver, every ring fully made, set & engraved in house.
