Well what a Year it’s been. I’ve been extremely quiet on here due to having a horrific accident Breaking my Leg in 3 places back in March. So needless to say I’ve had an awful year. Made up of 2 Surgeries, one where I had to have a Metal Rod & Screws fixed inside my main bone in my left Leg, and another where I had 2 Screws removed that were causing me pain.
I’ve also had to attend numerous Physio appointments & now Physio Gym appointments trying to re build up the strength in my leg. My 2nd surgery set me back a bit as had to return back to doing the old exercises I started back in May, so my treatment is still ongoing. I have to go for X-rays every so many months and my next one is 8th January 2025.
I’m still experiencing a lot of pain in my Ankle & Knee where the Rod went in.
I’m hoping they will agree to a total removal of said Rod but I fear I may have to wait the full 12months before they’ll do it unfortunately but will see when I go next week.
Unfortunately this means I’ve not been able to do any of my regular Fairs/Markets etc or Workshops as I still cannot spend a lot of time standing especially outdoors in the cold.
I still however have some of my Jewellery on display at The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen in Stone & still have an Etsy shop that has been quite busy recently.
We’ll see what 2025 brings, & hope it’such better Health-wise so that I can get back to doing what I Love.
Happy New Year everyone 🎉🥳
