We are back open today, Sunday 28th from 10am, near The Ladybird Moorings and the forecast looks sunnier and warmer ☀️

All set up at our first Roving Canal Traders Association event Market Drayton. Pleased with our set up. Just a couple of tweaks. Mark Stewart has gone for bunting and fairy lights.

Getting excited for my first venture in selling my jewellery directly from the boat.
Including my recently launched jewellery made from cutlery.

We have recently signed up to be part of the Roving Canal Traders Association floating market at the Ginger and spice Festival in Market Drayton next weekend.

Join us for a weekend of fun at the RCTA Floating Market on Saturday, September 27th, and Sunday, September 28th, just by Betton Road Bridge from 10am to 5pm each day. 🤩

Spoon rings are believed to originate in 17th century England. Where servants stole silverware to create rings for themselves, symbols of love and commitment despite their inability to afford precious metals. Of course this was considered theft and the term "stealing a silver spoon".
This could be one reason why historic cutlery sets had family crests were engraved on them?

The tradition saw a resurgence during the 1960s hippie movement, which embraced recycling and anti-materialism, further linking spoon rings to expressions of love and sustainability.

BTW I did smile when I thought this was a Liverbird without my glasses on and wondered if it had been pinched from there at some point? 🤔

Slight technical glitch on the multi buy for the saving of £10 when you buy 3 pairs of earrings!
It isn't happening automatically at the mo and waiting to hear back from technical support.
