I was delighted by the news that OnFife were recently awarded Nationally Significance status from Museums Galleries Scotland (on behalf of the Scottish Government) for their collection of objects and photographs relating to linoleum industry. I had a fun day at Fife council’s archives a couple of years ago delving into the pattern books, photos and objects relating to the local industry. They have such a brilliant collection of interesting items. Some pieces are on display at Kirkcaldy Galleries , including printing blocks, tools, advertising bannners and an Eduardo Paolozzi miniature elephant. Linoleum is such an important part of Scotland’s heritage, it’s wonderful to have its legacy honored.

It was lovely to be invited to celebrate the recognition last weekend at Kirkcaldy Galleries. I was also delighted to restock the gallery shop with a fresh batch of linoleum jewellery.

A couple of new pairs of shiny jingly dangles have just landed in my website shop (at long last). I really love how they’ve turned out. Hand constructed in sterling silver with hanging 3D wire components. Super lightweight, eye catching and playful ☻

Lots of nice things are being packed away for my pop-up event this Saturday which is just round the corner from my house/workshop. There are a few new bits and pieces, which I’ve still to photograph and get listed in my online shop.

I’ll be there with - my sister in law!

This is my only in person selling event this year and I’m very much looking forward to it. We hope to see you there!

These hoops are lightweight, super comfy and great for everyday wear. I’ve made them in shiny sterling silver, however, they would look great oxidised black too, don’t you think? 〰️〰️ ☻
