We DBS check all Sacred Fury staff when they begin working from our studio. We know it's not a 100% foolproof way of weeding out 'wrong'uns' but it's a start. The studio pays for the basic check - if anyone has an incident flagged that makes them an unsafe person to be around, we don't continue to work with them.

We don't care if you shoplifted a choccy bar when you were 14, or got caught 'smoking' in a beer garden when you were at uni.

We care about our staff and clients, and their safety. Any history of violence or abuse means you're not the right fit for our studio.

Amazingly, this is NOT a requirement for tattooists and piercers in England. I know of convicted abusers and nonces who have worked as tattooists and piercers.

We think that these checks should be part of your council licencing (as should insurance and first aid training, but that's a fight for another day), which is why we are supporting Draw The Line Project 💖

We call on the government to introduce mandatory DBS checks for all licensed tattoo artists in England. Wales has shown this approach works. DBS checks will prevent those with violent or sexual criminal histories from working with clients, protecting public safety and ensuring trust in the industry.

just a heads up - i'm not in the studio this coming saturday (17th).

i am at Sacred Fury as usual tomorrow (friday) then off this weekend, back in next week as usual (monday and weds-sat).

i use my google business page to manage my hours and update on there with any changes to my usual :)

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

Today is my last day in the studio before Christmas!

Walk in at Sacred Fury for piercings, tooth gems, jewellery and voucher sales til 6pm today!

My next days in the studio will be:
Saturday 27th December
Monday 29th
Tuesday 30th
Friday 2nd January
Saturday 3rd
Monday 5th
Wednesday 7th - Saturday 10th

After new year, I will reluctantly be taking Tuesdays off again, but I will be doing occasional half days on a Tuesday during busier periods, these will be added to my Google listing as and when, and I'll try to post here to let you all know.

But for clarity, after 1st January, I will not be in the studio on Sundays, Tuesdays or bank holidays.

I'm gonna make an executive decision and stay home tomorrow.

I hate feeling like this, and I hate letting clients down even more, but between the flu and sickness bug, I am just drained.

Been struggling a bit recently, and trying so hard to keep on top of everything but I just can't do it anymore. I know people are waiting on replies, I know there are vouchers to post out and stock photos to send. I will get through these things ass soon as possible,but it will likely be next week.

If at all possible, please just call into the studio -its always a walk in service with me (when I'm there, anyway!) as this is the fastest way to get whatever you need sorted.

I cannot promise I'll be back in on Friday, but I will update when I know. I apologise for any inconvenience, I was just starting to hit my stride again, but this has knocked me for six.

I'm trying my best, and I am just one person. I appreciate every single client so much and I know I am letting people down right now which makes this even harder.

Brilliant.
Thought I was over the flu.
Up all night throwing up.

Doubt it's something I ate as Dave has had the same and he's fine, so if it's a bug I cannot risk passing this on, so I'm taking today off as well.

Very aware that I've not been in for 4 days on the trot, I darent say I'm going to be in tomorrow in case I jinx it 🙄

Will update on here and insta if anything changes tomorrow 💕

Sacred Fury is open as usual, tattoo appointments are unaffected, but no piercing services today 💕

Well, this flu has come back for round 3 on my sinuses.

Cannot remember the last time I was this poorly.

I'm calling it now, so I can turn my alarm off, I'll be out of the studio tomorrow (Monday 8th) and I have planned personal appointments on Tuesday 9th, so my next day at Sacred Fury will be wednesday 10th.
