We’ve been so quiet on here lately, it’s been a really busy and stressful few weeks moving out of our Morpeth premises just as we’re really getting to market season, it’s been crazy! But we’re so happy to already have our 5⭐️ rating for our new kitchen and we’ve got some exciting events coming up this summer so watch this space 👀

After a lot of thought, we’re sharing something most of you have probably already noticed... Our shop is now closed.

After the Christmas market, we took some time away from the shop to figure out our next steps. Our lease is due to end in June anyway and we now sell far more at markets than we have in the shop for years. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s the right time to look for a kitchen space closer to where we live, focus on where our business is growing and get back to what we love the most, baking, experimenting and decorating cakes.
This isn’t goodbye, we’re still very busy baking every day so you’ll see us around Morpeth, probably rushing around or carrying huge bags of cakes.

What will Made of Crumbs look like?
- Celebration and wedding cakes are still available to order
- Treat boxes available to order for occasions (Mother’s Day and Easter to be announced soon!)
- We’re at markets every weekend (Tynemouth every weekend, Gosforth on the last Saturday of the month and more to come from April)
- Cake decorating classes are launching from March (send us a DM or email if you want to be kept in the loop!)
- Sugar Flower Club is also coming back in March, every other week (DM or email for more info!)
- Online ordering with delivery and possibly click & collect is in the works

If you miss our treats in Morpeth, you can still pick some up locally at Central Bean.
We miss seeing you all in the shop, your support has meant so much to us, and we’re so grateful for every single coffee, cake and chat you’ve had in our shop.
We’re still here, still baking and we hope to see you soon at a market, a class, or picking up a box of treats or cake. Thank you for being part of our journey so far, we’re really excited for what’s to come!
