A little behind the scenes look inside our workshop as this Cartier Love ring receives some expert attention.

Our in house workshop isn’t just where repairs happen, it’s where our goldsmith & silversmith uses specialist tools and traditional polishing techniques to carefully remove everyday surface marks, refine the finish and bring back that beautiful shine, all while respecting the original character of the piece. 💍✨

It’s these small details and hands on craftsmanship that can make such a difference to jewellery you wear every day.

Last month, Niamh & Kristian said “I do” on 23.08.26, celebrating their beautiful wedding at the Titanic Hotel in Belfast. 💍 🇮🇪

After plenty of studying, exams and a lot of gemstones along the way, Matt has officially completed his Level 4 Certificate in Gemmology with Gem-A 🎓✨

So… what does that actually mean, and more importantly, how does it benefit you as our customer?

In Episode One of our brand new Gemmology Series, we’re starting at the beginning. Matt talks us through why he chose to study gemmology, what the qualification involved and how his new expertise adds another level of knowledge to the advice and service we can offer in-store.

Some jewellery carry a meaning that goes far beyond what you can see. 🤍

A lovely customer came to us after losing her dad, asking whether we could create a piece of memorial jewellery using some of his ashes. She wanted something incredibly personal, but also subtle, a ring she could wear every day without it looking like traditional memorial jewellery.

After her consultation, we settled on this beautiful oval solitaire diamond ring.

But where are the ashes? 🤍

They’re carefully hidden inside the setting, directly underneath the diamond. Completely concealed from view, protected within the ring and designed to remain there forever. To anyone else, it’s simply a beautiful diamond ring. To Ullmira, it means so much more, a little piece of her dad is always with her.

For one final personal touch, she chose to add an engraving in Arabic along the shoulders of the ring, honouring her dad in a way that is entirely her own.

We feel incredibly privileged when someone trusts us with something this precious. Jewellery can be so much more than something we wear, it’s a way of keeping the people we love close. 🤍
