With Six Streets Derby – I just got recognised as one of their top fans! 🎉I love the concept of Six Streets and it’s amazing to see how so many people get together to open up their houses, showcase unique arts and crafts, make cakes and coffees and entertain us with bands and choirs!

Lovely first day at Six Streets Art Trail. We have listened to the choir, sampled homemade cakes and I reminded myself how to make these corded intention bracelets and made one to match my dress!

Exploring art works up an appetite, right? We’ve got you covered, here are just a few snippets of what you can enjoy…. Delicious treats from POINTSIX coffee house, refreshments at St Alkmund’s Church when you visit their group exhibition “Peace” (open from 12noon on Sunday), The Creaky Floorboard is the place for a little tipple (open 12-5pm and no children allowed) and finally the famous Arts Trail Sunday Lunch (and sandwiches on Saturday) over at the Broadway Baptist Church.
Take a break, grab a cuppa (or something stronger!), and soak up the atmosphere.

Start your visit off right!
The Six Streets Arts Trail is all about our wonderful community, if it wasn’t obvious, the six streets are all residential, so parking is extremely limited.
If you can, we’d really encourage you to walk, use public transport, or cycle. Parking on Broadway, a big street on the outskirts is potentially the best, and venue number 1 is The Broadway Church where you can get your Trail Guide (suggested donation £5 per adult).
There is also disable parking in their car park and an easy access path to the top of Wheeldon Avenue.

We appreciate your help with this as it all helps keep the streets relaxed, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Looking forward to taking part in the Six Streets Art Trail next weekend. As always, I make a few new pieces but this year Kat and I are going to be showing people how to make Intention Bracelets.

It’s Six Streets Arts Festival in June! Me and Kat will be at the school this year. I have been working on new designs. silver and Rose Quartz bracelet, earrings and pendant and a tourmaline bead necklace with a silver fastener.
