I seem to be getting well known for designing and creating bespoke memorial jewellery, encapsulating cremation ash in translucent coloured enamel, which gives great comfort to the wearer. This latest piece is based on a design from the client, a professional classical pianist, to replicate a stylised piano keyboard. Made from melted family gold, it contains the Diamond from her Mother's engagement ring, each of the Cloisonne enamel areas containing ash are coloured to signify the birthstones of her mother and siblings and the message on the reverse is a laser engraved facsimile of part of her mother's last letter to her. There are very emotional items and I liaise with my clients with the greatest respect and care.
