Changes to Hardcore disposal
From 1 October 2026, permitted waste-receiving site operators in England and Wales will be required to record and report details of the waste they receive through DEFRA’s new Digital Waste Tracking service.
• A clearer digital chain of custody, making it easier to evidence compliance with waste duty of care obligations
• Faster and more accurate reporting when audits or regulatory checks arise
• Greater protection from regulatory and reputational risks further down the waste chain through improved traceability and visibility of where the waste has been received
• Greater confidence that waste is being received and managed by an authorised operator
We aim for minimal disruption bringing hardcore into our site.
However, it will be important that all customer, site, carrier, material and waste-description information provided at the point of entering our premises is complete and accurate.
Please report to the Transport Office EVERY time you bring a load into D Haird.
