Some gorgeous pieces finished off today! A chunky heart necklace to start, a meaningful trio of interlinked circles necklace to represent a special friendship group of 3, a stunning purple flash labradorite pendant and a chunky chain bracelet. Those chains took a lot of polishing let me tell you! Off to rest my aching hands now. 🥰

It's been a busy day here today, with sunny days upon us I thought I'd have a day of beachy vibe earrings. A new sand dollar dangly, some classic beachy studs and a load of wood and resin danglies. Time to give my poor aching hands a rest.

It's not often I can afford to work with gold, so when my lovely mum approached me with some solid gold cufflinks, which had belonged to my late dad, and asked me if I could make them into some earrings, I was excited and terrified in equal measure. We wanted to keep them as close to the original shape and design as possible so after sawing off the chain and smoothing the back out, I gave them a polish to get surface scratches out and drilled some holes. I decided to give the smooth pair a hammered finish and left the textured pair as they were. Now some gorgeous sentimental cufflinks can be worn and enjoyed again instead of sitting hidden in a draw.

Something a bit different today..... chandelier earrings, the sunshine yesterday got me into "big earring" mood. The rainbow moonstone have the most amazing blue flashes and the colour variations in them and the apatite range from light blue to green, a lot of work to make but the results are pretty awesome....even if I do say so myself 🫣
