Hi everyone 👋🏼 I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! 🎄✨

I had so many plans to post festive content this year, but in true Evelyn style, time completely ran away from me! Honestly, though, this Christmas has felt a little different for me. I’ve been in a bit of a funk, and I can’t quite figure out why. Normally, I’m pretty good at pinpointing what’s going on, but not this time—and I know that’s normal, but I still don’t like it!🫠

I feel so lucky to have spent Christmas surrounded by all my loved ones, yet I’ve still felt off. It’s such a strange feeling—like I should be filled with all the festive cheer and happy sparkles, but it's just not syncing with my brain. I don’t really know why I’m sharing this, but in my little corner of the internet, I like to share all the emotions, not just the glitz and I guess I wanted to put it out there in case someone else is feeling the same. If you’re not feeling quite yourself, wondering why you’re not on top of the world right now, just know you’re not alone. And keep checking in on loved ones, I often forget this time of year as it's crazy and we expect everyone is happy/excited but it's not always the case ❤️

Anyway, as I'm typing this I'm sitting near our Christmas tree and as I was looking at it, I spotted three baubles I've made over the years. The ceramic one was a COVID craft from 2020, the pink Dad one must have been two years ago (I made it before I started Ev And Grow) and then the fabric one in the corner is from this year. It's a bit of an experiment and I love it so you may see some more of that soon.

does anyone else head to bed, start getting ready to sleep and then have a random idea for a product and because they have an awful memory and raging ADHD, they have to start making it there and then, so out come all the sparkly stuff, beads, sequins and ribbon - only for it to look like it was something a four year old made? no? okay? fair enough.

also, we are just going to label it as a "prototype" so I don't faff about till 5 am and wonder why the birds are chirping 🥲

This is the face of a maker who just got her first EVER Etsy sale from a complete stranger!! 🤯💖 (1st pic is insta vs 2nd pic which was more like my face in reality when I saw the email)

Like, an actual person who doesn't know me saw something I created in my mind, turned into reality with my hands, and put out there for the world to judge—and decided to spend their hard-earned money on it. WOW!

I know people get Etsy sales all the time, but for me, this is such a huge milestone. It feels so surreal, and I couldn’t be more proud! 🥹

I don't have much listed on my Etsy at the moment but I'll be listing more and more as and when I have time.

Lately, I've been hitting so many "firsts" on this journey, and moments like this remind me why I started.

ANNOUNCEMENT 📢📢🗣️🗣️

Today we premièred our necklace charms for the first time! I have so many people compliment my earrings but say that they don't have their ears pierced.

I'm still figuring out the logistics and researching what chains to get to sell these as a complete necklace. But for now, these double sided beauties can be adorned on whatever you please!
