If you're a jewellery lover, you will probably have seen similar posts over the last few weeks...
Gold is at an all-time high (having risen by approximately 60% over the last year), and platinum is also seeing a marked increase. As a small independent jewellers we have had to carefully consider how we approach things going forward... we could drastically hollow out and slim down our designs to cut down on weight, but this would lead to items not being as strong and long-lasting as they could be. We could follow in the footsteps of other larger companies and switch to lower quality materials, but we take pride in the fact that our jewellery is made to become modern heirlooms, and be passed down to future generations.
Ultimately, we value quality over all, and truly believe that the materials we use, and the way that we use them matters. We refuse to compromise on the integrity of the pieces we make, so we will reluctantly be updating the prices of some of our stock items from the 24th of February. In light of this, if there are items you have had your eye on for a while, and would like to purchase them at their current prices, we encourage you to do so before then.
