I’ve had the absolute pleasure of making some of my fave people forever pieces of jewellery recently and it’s not lost on me what an honour it is 🥰 this ring for my gal Illiyin Morrison Birth Trauma Specialist Midwife was pure joy to create, we worked closely together going back and forth with ideas and multiple waxes were carved before we got to the perfect balance of chunky, organic, polished and contemporary 👌🏻👌🏻 Illy chose the most beautiful sky blue sapphires which look incredible in 9ct juicy yellow gold ✨ this ring was literally made for you Illy, it suits you perfectly.
Big shout out to Stoyan Ivanov. Diamond Setter for the flawless setting on the sapphires 👏🏻

Throwing it back to my painting session last week with the incredible Susanna Harder | Intuitive Abstract Artist 🧑‍🎨 this is my third session and I am obsessed! Even though my job on paper is a creative one, I’m more often than not managing, admin-ing or making orders and rarely getting creative in my own practice so these sessions have been a real outlet for me. They are by no means a masterpiece but I have loved every second and I’m already planning my next one. All part of our never ending swaps - next up we will be ring carving together 🥰

Susannah hosts these in her beaut studio and you can book 1:1 or 1:2 workshops, so it’s a hard recommend from me!

Let’s chat gold ✨ I just love making your golden jewels and I’ve always tried to keep my prices as low as possible but I’ve made a few pieces recently that after casting, hallmarking, wages and tax I’ve been left with little to no profit 😭 so prices of lots of gold pieces, mostly wedding bands and signets will be increasing over the next couple of weeks. So if you’ve got your eyes on anything you got the rest of this week to shop at the current prices. Sorry guys, increasing prices sucks 😢
