Now that things are getting back into full swing after being in Scotland I wanted to stop by and let you know how grateful I am for such an overwhelming response to my first collection releases of the year.
I always like to make a point of sharing thanks after a release, even if I do sound like a broken record but it's important for me to let YOU know how much it's appreciated.
I couldn't have asked for a better turn and I've since received some beautiful messages from my customers on receiving their pieces which is just the cherry on top of a really awesome cake. There's only a small handful of pieces left in the shop and i'm just so damn happy you love the work I create.

I'm very ready to be back at my bench now, especially after another inspiring trip to Scotland.

I worked hard on this release, taking my time & creating what called to me without pressuring myself to meet certain expectations. For me working freely is the best way to release my creativity and I'm so grateful to those or you that love to wear handmade and wait patiently for it to be ready.

A little bit of extra love for Valentines 🤎

Natural Carico Lake turquoise paired with the prettiest Coral heart. I absolutely adore this one and the coral is something else close up.
Coral and stunning dendritic agate with its own red Sun. Made me think of Japanese art.

Ive been completely engrossed in this collection, each piece coming together just like it was meant to be. So easy. I love it when things flow like that.
These cuffs and the heart necklaces are the last pieces of the puzzle to show you for Sundays release.

I wanted to go bold but simple letting the stones do all the work. Organic ribbon turquoise + Australian Variscite with an earthy strip running through set on smooth cuff.

Lavender chalcedony simply decorated with delicate 9ct gold accents.
I had Chrysoprase pair of these almost complete when I dropped one of the stones and broke the tip 😭It's just how it goes sometimes, thankfully not very often. I'm still deciding what to do with the them now. Maybe a necklace with the unbroken one and shape the broken one for a ring.....

For now I have these to offer, simple, elegant statement post earrings.

A love note to nature in silver & stone 🧡
Montana agate mountainscapes. Giving warmth and the light. These guys really do glow.

When the stone has its own red sky sunset you give it hand sawn sun rays.
Mountain ridges by my hand, 9ct gold details for the sun + moons + prongs.. A stamped "The mountains are calling" setting which continues on the band "..& I must go". Really special staple Mountainscape rings to start the year.

A couple of days after I'd finished crafting the first of the feather necklaces Lance and I were taking the scenic route to his grandads through the country roads when ahead of us we saw a huge starling murmuration. Nothing but open land, sky and a flock of birds twisting, swirling and making waves in sky. Perfectly in sync, at one. The hypnotic movement is something truly special to behold.
It later dawned on me when I sat down to set the stones that the Montana agates I'd chosen for these necklaces had their own murmurations within in them... little black specks creating waves in the sky. and so the Murmuration necklaces were born. Coming soon.

The weather has been... well typically January. An English January that is. Rain, cloud and generally just very grey. The month started out promising with beautiful frosty mornings, sun breaking through the fog but it didn't last.
Finally this weekend the cloud cleared and the sun shined. So I spent the whole day outside, I took my camera, Lance & Penny joined me. He hunted the dog over the grass field watching her point snipe while I got to photograph some of the pieces I've been working on this month. It was a much needed dose of vitamin d and fresh air. Today it was back to overcast, we took the Penny over the heath and now we're cozied up while Lance cooks. A good weekend.
Anyway all this to say I have some jewellery to show you & expect to see some warm tones in this upcoming collection.

I was recently asked to work on a special commission for a customer that had sadly been a victim of a burglary. All of her jewellery gone, pieces with sentimental value that she cherished. That can never be replaced. Not to mention the damage to her home & the toll it takes on someone.
So when Rachel asked me for a custom Portal ring I was so honoured that she would choice a piece created by little ol' me to start rebuilding her collection and although i can never replace those lost pieces close to her heart, I hope it helps a little.
Rachel picked out a really beautiful opal to be set in gold, it reminded me of the aurora.

I've got a few beautiful opals pieces in my shop, full of magic should you tempted. 💜

It's been Black Friday, cyber Monday and whatever else madness so I was a little scared about have a release in the middle of the chaos, feeling completely buried by all the sales and huge discounts and emails flying around, it makes me even more grateful for each purchase. I know a lot of small businesses are just trying to keep their heads above water and you do what you gotta do and if that means joining the Black Friday deals go get it! Always rooting for the little people!
