This Platinum & Diamond Wishbone Wedding Ring was handmade for Charlie to fit against her 3-stone diamond engagement ring.
The diamonds are pave set to give that subtle twinkle to complement her engagement ring, but not overbear it. Pave setting can also give a finer, elegant, more timeless look and as long as it’s done properly is a really secure way to set the stones as each diamond is embedded into the metal’s surface with low grains holding them in which means the design can be kept low, you avoid catching claws and it’s much easier to size if needed further down the line.
The band is 2mm wide which marries up nicely to Charlie’s engagement ring which is a similar width. So both rings create a beautiful partnership rather than competing against each other 🫶
Would you go for shaped, or a classic straight band?

Ann came to see me with her Nan’s old gold and silver ring which is very sentimental to her, but not her size and not quite her style. Ann felt like the ring needed a bit of a revamp and we decided to keep the integrity of the old ring but add some new elements to celebrate the new chapter of wear for this gorgeous little ring 💙
After looking through my gemstone collection, Ann fell in love with this gorgeous oval blue sapphire. As a centre piece to the ring we set it in a 9ct white gold classic claw setting between the existing silver band. Yellow gold isn’t really something Ann wears, so we decided to replace the side strips with more modern 9ct white gold halo bands.
I also replaced some missing stones and sized the band up to Ann’s ring size by creating a new blended section at the back to mimic the rest of the pattern.

to the gorgeous couple, Sophie and Jake!
I was over the moon when Jake asked me to design Sophie’s engagement ring. Sophie has been a massive part of the twins’ childcare from about 10 months old. So it was even more special to make this for her and Jake.
Platinum, 1.01ct oval brilliant cut lab grown diamond, claw set in a bespoke petal setting, framed by pretty pavé set diamond shoulders.

Here’s a little photo dump from our week in Canada visiting family! ❤️ We’ve had a wonderful time exploring in the snow, discovering what Ottawa is all about and spending time with my brother and his family.
Thank you for your patience with responses. As soon as I’m back into routine with the girls I’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
All the best, April x

Nothing can quite describe the good feels I get from coming into my little workshop, working for myself, doing what I love everyday to provide for my little family, meeting new people with amazing stories and being given the opportunity and trust to create their very special vision ❤️
I’m extremely grateful for where I am and how far I’ve come. I’ve learned so much, been through highs and lows, had fears and doubts, and learned that this is actually what business and being a human being is all about.
I’m super proud of what I’ve built and excited for what’s still to come

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. You can’t describe the beauty, tranquility and the pure awe… not even in photos. You can only truly appreciate it when you are there in the car, driving along with the hot air coming through the window and the sound of the birds coming and going as you whiz by, looking with beady eyes for signs of movement through the trees or amongst the thick grasses. It takes you t some place else, quite literally 🤍
I hope you enjoy the photos, it’s a little reminder of how amazing nature can be 😊

I ‘ M B A C K !
And what an amazing 6 weeks it was!
Today’s my first day back after what I can only describe as the most wonderful time over in South Africa with my little tribe ❤️
We had 6 weeks of quality family time, enjoying some well-needed down time “away from it all” after a very crazy rollercoaster of a 2024!! We celebrated Christmas by braaing and swimming 😄, the girls turned 3! 🎈(And didn’t we know it! We’ve had lots of toddler tantrums throughout the holiday... thrown in for good measure of course! Wouldn’t be a family holiday without some meltdowns 😉), and we made some incredible memories exploring the Kruger National Park taking photos and looking at BIRDS! (Yes, I’m not scared to admit, the birds are just as amazing as the bigger animals!).
Now we come back to reality! And I can’t wait to get started! Today I’m going to be working through all your enquiries and getting back to you all as soon as possible 🙏

Raw definitely doesn’t have to mean unrefined...
This was the last piece of jewellery I finished for 2024 and I love how different it was to my “usual” style. This chunky, heavy, organic style really appeals to me, but so many of you mention how dainty my style is, so it was nice to play around and have some freedom in this raw and unpredictable piece.
Even though the style is chunkier, that definitely didn’t mean I had to leave behind the refined finishing touches. By highly polishing the inside of the band and highlighting the highpoints and edges to create contrast, it really brought out the texture and weight of the band which is what makes this ring so unique and visually appealing.

R is for R E M O D E L
(and Ruth...)
This gorgeous little signet ring was handmade in my Norfolk workshop, using my client’s old silver cutlery.
After drawing some sketches for Anna while chatting over a cup of tea here in my studio, she chose this soft horizontal cushion shape design with an old english font for the engraved R on top.
I hand carved the signet ring from wax (a very therapeutic process!) and then sandcast it, pouring Anna’s molten silver cutlery into the sand void. After opening the sand mould and taking out the cooled down silver, I sat at my workbench and carefully filed away the sandy texture and casting lines, and polished the ring up to a mirror finish, before engraving the R on top.
Anna presented the sweet little pinky ring to her daughter, Ruth, over the festive season and I’m happy to say she was very pleased!

Two new modern silver rings, handmade from old cutlery passed down through generations.
One for Anna; a chunky organic ring with a heavy molten texture.
One for Ruth, Anna’s daughter; a sweet cushion shape signet ring with an Old English “R” engraved on the top.
Both made in completely different ways from a fork and knife from the same cutlery set. Anna’s ring was melted into a bar and rolled out then heated until it was molten on the surface. Ruth’s ring was hand carved from wax then sandcast in my workshop.

The most special part of having a piece of bespoke jewellery designed and made, is that it’s PERSONAL. Whether that be personal to you, personal to you and your partner, or personal to a loved one.
Having something commissioned carries a story and sentiment within itself which will last forever alongside the piece of jewellery being worn.
This 9ct Yellow Gold Bar Name Necklace is personalised with the names of Hannah’s children, “Arthur” and “Edith”, along with their birthstones (peridot and ruby)... which happen to both go beautifully with yellow gold so you planned that well Hannah 😉
Each bar is handmade in solid 9ct gold and runs along a simple elegant box chain.

From a mix of sentimental diamond jewellery.
Sandra came to me in search of someone she could trust, who would be able to transform her late Mum’s old diamond rings into something ‘wow’ to wear alongside her engagement ring and wedding ring.
With such precious and sentimental pieces, it’s of extra importance to me to treat the whole process from start to finish with the upmost care, love and sensitivity. From the moment Sandra walked in and told me her story, I knew this was going to be a special one .
The Design:
It’s always a welcome challenge mixing diamonds from a collection of different rings into one, as most of the time the stones are all different shapes and sizes and were never “made to go together”. The additional challenge with this design idea was how to shape the diamonds around Sandra’s existing engagement ring in a way that complimented her other rings and worked with these prescribed stone sizes. As I usually do during consultations, I sat and sketched out 2-3 different designs to allow Sandra to see what’s possible and we both agreed this was “the one”, using all 9 diamonds to sweep around in a fitted, flowing curve.

Here’s a reminder to have a rummage through your jewellery boxes and drawers this Christmas and pull out some old treasures!
Now’s the perfect time over the festive season to be nostalgic, share stories, remember loved ones… whether that’s in your own space or with the family together.
There are so many ways you can honour and remember your loved ones through jewellery and there’s no “one size fits all” way to do it. Some people want to treasure memories by wearing their jewellery as it was in the form their loved one wore it. Others have items they split between numerous family members and will divide out and share metal and gemstones in their own personal way and style.
However you wish to remember is your way 🫶
If you’d like more information or to have a chat about what’s possible when it comes to remodelling or working with family jewellery, send me a DM or email and I’ll be more than happy to help.

Antique heirloom to modern cross!
This has got to be one of the biggest transformations I’ve made to date, in terms of style!
This dainty gold claw set ring was passed down through generations only to be sat unworn in a drawer until Kate and her family came to me to commission this modern silver cross pendant.
The cross is solid Sterling Silver, designed in this contemporary bold style to showcase and accommodate the ring’s original Sapphire and two old cut diamonds.
The gemstones are flush set to keep them safe and secure for everyday wear, and to keep the design clean and polished.
I love a challenge! And this transformation certainly was, working with putting these mixed shapes and sizes of gemstones in the prescribed form of the cross. As usual, I sketched a few design options to provide choice, and I’m really happy with the clean outcome of this design 👌
