Happy New Year! ✨ Back in the studio today and looking forward to the year ahead. Thank you for an amazing 2025 and for your incredible support. The Christmas season was a great one for my little biz truly a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported it last year. ❤️✨ I’m excited to be back (although a little bit chilly!) after a lovely rest and getting to work on your pre-Christmas orders. I always feel a little grey and gloomy at this time of year. The terrible tax return looms as always left to the last minute (when will I learn? Never I expect!) But looking back on my travels last year - this is Finn lolloping about on the beach in Mull, makes me smile and feel excited for the year ahead. More van adventures and hopefully more making jewels in beautiful places like this. 🙌

Last day today for dispatch before Christmas. I will be off to the post office one more time tomorrow so if you have any last minute presents to buy, get your order in before 9am tomorrow morning. ✨ I didn’t manage to get the website updated unfortunately but there’s still lots of treasures to choose from and that means some surprises to be found in the new year!

What a brilliant weekend / .contemporary - It was a really busy one and so brilliant to see so many people supporting small businesses - what legends you all are!✨ I have in fact got a bit of a croaky voice from talking so much which is a first! It really does mean such a lot to hear every kind word, see each business card taken and feel every little burst of joy at each purchase that’s made. 🥰 As always it was super great organisation from Emma and the team and such a lovely group of independent businesses and creatives to hang out with for the weekend. They are all still on the Nottingham Contemporary website so check it out for shopping inspiration for Christmas and beyond. 🙌

That was my last jewellery outing before Christmas but I will have a small shop update over the coming days with a few new pieces and sparkly jewels that will be ready to post before Christmas so stay tuned! ✨ Also thank you to lovely Bryony for letting me take your picture as you browsed the treasures! ☺️

Craft Fair Contemporary launch’s tomorrow evening and will be on all weekend / .contemporary ✨ Come and say hello try on new jewels and have a chat! It’s will surely be a lovely weekend, with so many wonderful creative people involved there is so much to see and do and I’m always very proud to find myself among them.✨

Gearing up and getting ready for this weekend! ✨After a very busy weekend at the lovely this little sapphire Mitsuro ring found a new home, but I still have a few Mitsuro rings to bring along with me at the weekend. It’s always such a busy time of year, often pieces don’t make it to the photography stage so I was pleased in a brief sunny moment last week that I got the chance to snap these when the sun came in and reflected off these lovely vintage glass bottles on my shelf. Looking forward to the weekend! Hope to see you there!✨

✨F E R N W E H✨

The newest ancient coin in my collection is called Fernweh - named for the ache to roam and the longing for distant horizons. ✨

This impression of a Celtic Bellovaci Coin was found in the south of England, it’s over two thousand years old and likely travelled to Britain through trade… or wandering souls. ✨

It’s double sided and you can still see the faint outlines of the shapes and patterns depicting Apollo and the other side shows a horse galloping beneath the sun (or perhaps it’s a star?) Either way I love it! 🌟 🌞

This little coin, though small feels really substantial and I love it’s story. It still makes my me feel so much awe when I think about how old it is. The perfect talisman for travellers and dreamers. ✨🌞

I will be bringing a selection of brass, sterling silver and gold vermeil coins and lots of one of a kind pieces to next weekend for my first Christmas market this year - pop by and say hi if you are nearby! ✨

I’ll be bringing plenty of new pieces I’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes — I can’t wait to share them with you all (once I escape my little Instagram rut!).
