Orange, silver, black… with tiny flashes of purple and yellow sneaking in, because apparently three colours simply weren’t enough.

The juicy orange beads are acrylic faux amber, paired with buffed silver-tone alloy beads and a chunky black polymer-clay focal bead that I made and finished with liquid clay. It’s long, light and gloriously easy to wear, making it equally happy with office tailoring, a simple black dress or jeans and a white shirt.

Statement jewellery doesn’t have to be heavy, complicated or reserved for special occasions. Sometimes all you need is a good hit of orange.

Tangerine Noir: quietly office-appropriate, but definitely not beige.

Meet Percy the Piranha 🐟
He may look fierce, but Percy is really just a colourful little river rascal made entirely from hand-stitched beads.
This piece was created using bead embroidery, which means every single bead is stitched one at a time. It’s a slow process, but it allows the textures and patterns to build up gradually — almost like painting with beads.
Percy definitely has opinions about things and insists on being the centre of attention wherever he goes.
