WHO DESERVES TO BE PENZANCE’S CITIZEN OF THE YEAR?

Nominations are now open for the Brian Spiegelhalter Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year awards for 2026.

These awards were created in memory of Brian Spiegelhalter, former Councillor and Mayor of Penzance, whose dedication to the town and its community left a lasting legacy.

Each year the awards recognise people who go the extra mile to make a real difference in the lives of others in Penzance.

Do you know someone who gives their time, helps others, or quietly improves our community?
