Here our dyed stems are being laid out and layered so he turned into a block. This process is the fun bit - this is where we create the one of one patterned blocks that make Heathergems so unique.

It’s cutting time 🔪 here we have our machine cutting the shapes into our coloured and compressed heather sheets. Each shape is programmed into the computer and then cut to size before being coated and insterted into our jewellery.

As the Autumn/Winter period closes in, our picking season is coming to an end. This is the time of year where we will focus on the dying and cutting process.
