Founded by Sophie and home to Pilgrim, Joma, Shrieking Violet and Koko Jewellery. Koko stocks all types of jewellery and gifts to fit all budgets and styles. If your after anything from a simple silver necklace to a chunky multi-coloured bracelet Koko will have something to suit you. If they don't Bespoke pieces can be made to your own design. We can also repair your favourite necklace, bracelet or earrings in time for that special occasion.

Yesterdays little helper wasn’t quite ready for a full shift, so I spent part of the afternoon pushing Lily around the shop trying to encourage a nap. 🤣💕

(And yes, the video is sped up before anyone thinks I was hurtling around the shop at top speed! 😂)

It did make me realise something though…

You can get around the whole shop really easily with a pram, buggy or wheelchair. From the front door right through to the back, there’s plenty of space to browse comfortably.

As a mum, I know how daunting some shops can feel with a buggy, especially when you’re trying to shop with a baby who has other ideas! 😅 And accessibility is something that’s really important to us too.

So if you’ve ever wondered whether you can get around Koko with a pram or wheelchair, the answer is definitely yes. ✔️

I may have got a little muddled about who was supposed to be working today... 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Thankfully Lily has stepped in to save the day and is currently busy exploring the shop, inspecting the cards and charming the customers. 👶💗

🏗️ Shop Update! 🏗️

What a difference a week makes!

The new upstairs windows are now in, the damaged wall has been repaired, and everything is ready for the next stage — rendering. 🙌

After a stressful start to the week, it's such a relief to finally see things moving forward. There's still a little way to go, but we're getting closer to seeing the new shop front come together.

A huge thank you to everyone who has continued to pop in and support us despite the scaffolding, tape and general chaos outside. It really does mean so much to us. 💕

We're open as usual and business is very much continuing as normal inside, even if the outside looks a little different for now!

POV: You own a shop and spend half your life looking for your phone 📱😂

The amount of times a customer says, “Has someone left their phone here?”...

Oh yes, that’s mine 🤦🏼‍♀️

The problem is I’ve not only got my phone, I’ve also got my insulin pump phone, which basically doubles the chances of me leaving one somewhere random around the shop.

Jewellery displays, handbag shelves, by the till, in the stock room... honestly neither phone is ever where I think I left it.

Thank goodness for my Apple Watch, which spends a good part of the day helping me ping my phone so I can find it again 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this?

✨ Give your silver jewellery a little refresh ✨

I don’t know if it’s because the outside of the shop is a bit messy at the moment, but we had a proper sort out on Saturday… which also meant a good jewellery clean! 😂

One of my favourite jewellery cleaning hacks is so simple and uses things you probably already have at home.

All you need:
💙 Bicarbonate of soda
🤍 Tin foil
💙 A plastic container
💦 Hot water

Line your container with tin foil and place your silver jewellery on top. Carefully pour over hot water, then sprinkle in some bicarbonate of soda. Leave it for a few minutes and watch the tarnish disappear!

Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.

One thing I always tell customers is that silver jewellery often tarnishes because it isn’t being worn. The more you wear your silver jewellery, the less likely it is to tarnish. So don’t save it for best – enjoy it every day! ✨
