Founded by Sophie and home to Pilgrim, Joma, Shrieking Violet and Koko Jewellery. Koko stocks all types of jewellery and gifts to fit all budgets and styles. If your after anything from a simple silver necklace to a chunky multi-coloured bracelet Koko will have something to suit you. If they don't Bespoke pieces can be made to your own design. We can also repair your favourite necklace, bracelet or earrings in time for that special occasion.

Happy 1st Birthday to our little Lily! 🩷🎂

I honestly cannot believe she’s ONE today!! 🥹

I think this photo sums her up perfectly. She is our little wild child! 🤣 Constantly climbing on absolutely everything, even during her first birthday photoshoot at Sweet Pea Photography.

She’s only one but already has so much sass and personality. She’s loving, funny, clever and surprises me every single day… although not always in a good way! 🤣 Like the other day when I was putting Leo’s shoes on, turned around and she’d somehow climbed out of her highchair and was standing next to it!! 😳

Her and Leo couldn’t be more different, but I absolutely love that about them. Leo adores his baby sister and she absolutely idolises him, following him around everywhere and wanting to do everything he does. ❤️

I can’t believe how quickly this first year has gone. She’s certainly kept us on our toes and I have a feeling we’re in for quite a ride with this one! 🤣

Happy birthday to our gorgeous, crazy little girl. We love you so much, Lily! 🩷 xx

More new Koko jewellery has arrived! 😍

Lots of beautiful new earrings, delicate double chain necklaces with matching bracelets and MORE pearls! 🤣

You all absolutely love pearls, so of course I had to get some more. We’ve got some gorgeous different styles this time too, from dainty little pieces to big statement pearl necklaces.

I only just about managed to get everything priced and out on display before I left, so I didn’t even get a chance to try anything on!

But I’ll be back in on Friday and will definitely be having a little try-on session, so watch this space! 👀❤️

Different days, different jewellery moods! 🤣

I was looking through some old photos and realised just how much my jewellery changes depending on what I’m doing.

Some days it’s simple earrings, other days it’s stacks of bracelets, colourful gemstones or something a bit more dressy.

I don’t really follow jewellery trends, I just wear whatever I fancy that day. And I definitely don’t believe everything has to match!

That’s what I love about jewellery. You can wear the same outfit and completely change the look just by switching your jewellery.

So which are you? A less is more person or a more is more person? I’m definitely both, depending on the day! 😂❤️ xx

Our independent shops are such a big part of what makes Porthcawl special.

Every little shop has someone behind it, taking a chance, working hard and hoping people will keep coming through the door.

After 17 years of running Koko, I know just how much every customer, purchase, recommendation and lovely comment means.

And it’s not just about Koko. We’re lucky to have so many brilliant independent businesses in Porthcawl, and I’d love to see them all thriving.

You don’t have to spend a fortune to support local. Even popping in for a browse, telling a friend about a shop you love or sharing a post can make a difference.

So here’s a little reminder to keep supporting our high street. We’d certainly miss these businesses if they weren’t here ❤️

Koko has been nominated for the Bridgend & Porthcawl Small Business Awards 2026!

After 17 years of having my shop here in Porthcawl, it really does mean a lot to know that someone has taken the time to nominate us.

Running a small independent business certainly has its ups and downs, so little surprises like this are really lovely.

A huge thank you to whoever nominated us! And of course to everyone who continues to support Koko. We wouldn’t still be here 17 years later without you all ❤️

You’re all loving the new adjustable silver rings! ❤️

So many have already found new homes, and I can see why!

Lots of lovely designs, from flowers and butterflies to bees and our little lotus design (which obviously I have a soft spot for 🤣).

They’re all adjustable too, so no worrying about getting the right ring size!

Prices start from just £30, and I’ve popped the prices on each photo.

It’s taken us THREE days to get everything unpacked, priced and displayed, but we’ve finally done it! 🤣

SO many beautiful bags in Koko at the moment!

We’ve had lots more phone bags and camera bags arrive, along with gorgeous leather handbags, crossbody bags, colourful straps and loads of little purses.

Here are just a few of my favourites, but honestly, you need to come in and have a proper look. The photos don’t do them justice!

Unpopular jewellery opinions from someone who’s owned a jewellery shop for 17 years… 🤣

💗 I NEVER match my jewellery. Even if I have matching earrings and a necklace, I’ll wear them separately!

💗 I mix silver and gold all the time. My engagement ring is platinum and my eternity ring is gold. Who made up the rule that they have to match?!

💗 Raw gemstones are better than polished ones. They just have more personality! Obviously I’m biased 🤣

💗 Jewellery doesn’t have to be fashionable. Wear what you love, however old it is. Who cares what’s trendy?!

💗 I had my second ear piercings done thinking I’d change them every day like my first ones. Reality? I hardly ever change them 🤦🏼‍♀️

And completely unrelated, but I finally had my hair coloured last week after SIX months! Apparently I’m getting lower maintenance by the year 🤣
