When I visited Venice (Italy), I was completely captivated by its iconic masks and attire.Their intricate details, mysterious beauty and timeless elegance stayed with me long after I left.

Back then, I never imagined that someday I would turn that inspiration into a piece of jewellery.

This neckpiece is my interpretation of the iconic and traditional Venetian mask — an attempt to transform a piece of Venezia’s rich tradition into wearable art, while adding my own handcrafted touch.

For me, jewellery is not just something you wear. Sometimes, it carries a memory, a place, and a little story of its own.

Inspired by the one and only Frida Kahlo — the iconic Mexican painter and artist.
Frida’s face and her distinctive look have always fascinated me. So, I wanted to create something a little different this time, using her facial features as the inspiration for this necklace.

I also tried to create the overall look in a way that goes perfectly with the character of the piece.

It’s definitely a little different from my usual creations, but I hope you’ll love it as much as I enjoyed making it. ❤️

The neckpiece — created a little differently this time.
I’ve played around with a flower motif in a slightly abstract pattern, keeping the design unique and a little unconventional. I wanted it to have a character of its own ,something that feels artistic yet elegant when worn.

I feel this combination of green and red is going to stand out in a completely different way. It has such a vibrant and eye-catching charm!

From the Tagore Series ✨

I created these necklaces inspired by some of Rabindranath Tagore’s most celebrated literary works—his novels, poetry and short stories.

The series includes Chokher Bali, Shesher Kobita, Noshto Neer, and finally, Kabuliwala.
Each of these stories holds its own beauty, emotion and timelessness. Through this series, I tried to take the essence of each story from the pages of the books and transform it into an artistic piece of wearable art.

Each necklace is my little interpretation of a beloved Tagore story—turning literature into something you can wear. 🤍

This is probably the most unique and beautiful neckwear I have ever created.

I made it in 2021 for a client from London. She told me that one of her Italian friends absolutely loved crocodiles and asked me to design something keeping that in mind. So, here was the result!

The feedback was wonderful,the statement neckwear was loved by her friend, and hearing that made me incredibly happy 😊🤗🫠
